The CG for that three headed dragon is shockingly good for a comedic flick.

I can't wait for this movie. It also seems highly quotable

All set to check this out this weekend, can't wait. I've heard nothing but good stuff, so I hope to enjoy it.

Ouch. Only a 27% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. :( Not a good sign.

I saw an article today titled: "Is Your Highness the Worst Movie Ever Made?"

That can't be good.

Im kinda shocked at the reviews for this

Pineapple Express was brilliant imo, so either way Im down for seeing the flick

Just got back from it and enjoyed it for the most part. Wished alot of the jokes felt more like they belonged in the time and land where the film takes place in, instead of feeling so modern. The crudeness is fine but sometimes the jokes belonged in another comedy. Then again the theatre was digging all of it, so obviously these guys know what their audience wants to see. Just thought sometimes the film works and other times not. Could have done without That smoking animatronic pink wizard. I thought there were a few really odd scenes.

Funniest thing in the movie to me was.
Theroux ripping off the wings of a pixie, then its head, grinds it up and snorts it like coke. His character should have been in it more.
Its far from the worst movie ever made so I wouldnt go by that article. If you like fantasy movies, Danny Mcbrides crude humor and the hotness that is Zooey Deschanel and Natalie Portman then you should have a good time.

I'm really excited to see this over the weekend. I just read a horrible review by Roger Ebert ... and it made me want to see it more. Everything he didn't like sounded good to me.

Of course he didn't liked it, he cannot laugh anymore.

PS : black humor.

I wish critics would judge a film on its on terms instead of putting every film against high art. Is this meant to be anything other than a good laugh akin to a mel brooks film? No, its not. Critics need to lighten the **** up and have a laugh once in a while. This is a film I would ignore the critics on.

Well on Rotten Tomatoes has Pineapple Express at a 68% fresh rating which shows it was pretty well received by critics...so the excuse that critics aren't reviewing this film fairly is pretty thin. Right now Your Highness is down to a 25% fresh rating which saddens me. I am worried enough to push this one into the wait for rental zone.

I honestly don't give a rats ass what Rotten Tomatoes or Roger Ebert think of Your Highness. I saw the trailer and like what I saw, that right there was enough for me to say I must see this movie.

It's a medieval comedy movie with anachronisms and R-rated humor. I honestly didn't expect most reviewers to even get past that. It's going to be one of those things people are going to really like or really be like, "what the hell?"

Im going to see this with a mate, although we are waiting for an orange wednesday to see it.

But it looks like a really funny, quotable film akin to step brothers, anchorman and pineapple express. Plus it looks really good production/directorial wise for a comedy and it's got Natalie and Zooey in...

No, never triangle face. I hate triangle face.

Reviews very rarely sway me one way or another if it's a movie I definitely want to see (or absolutely don't want to see). I just get a kick out of reading the opinions of others.

I don't really care how many bad reviews this gets. I kind of know what to expect with a movie like this and can't wait to see it this weekend.

Ebert gave it one star. He gave Pineapple Express 3.5. Yeah, this movie probably sucks.

Well, I prefer to make up my own mind about movies. After all, 99% of the time, professional film critics don't know s#!t.

Oh don't get me wrong. I will still see it and make up my mind on my own. And I think that is a silly statement to make...I think Rotten Tomatoes is a pretty great indication of a films overall quality and are pretty spot on. You are telling me you don't agree with the majority of the ratings and reviews on Rotten Tomatoes?...but that is all a matter of personal opinion I suppose.
