Your predictions for summer box office???

Over the Edge opens up agianst the Da Vinci Code so no way it could come close to being a major summer film.

Why not? They aren't exactly aimed at the same audience.

Yea,but The Da Vinci code will have one of the largest openings... I just dont think over the hedge will do to good. Now Cars could do VERY good.

SPECULATION that he is gay or bisexual. He very well may be, but I can't find anything that says he definitely is. I also can't find anything that says he's out of the closet.

Hey, he is one of the greatest actors! American Beauty, Usual Suspects, L.A. Confedential are great movies, I love them all. And I also hope SR will be great film.

I haven't something against him, even if he is gay.

Agreed.

I never said that I care either. I'm simply saying the man has never come out of the closet if he is.

Alright, I'm telling you he is. I don't have internet proof, if that's what you can call anything on the internet. I have never once claimed to know something on here. My dad knows Chris McQuarrie's dad and he told him that Spacey is gay. My dad even held the Usual Suspect's screenwriting Oscar at Chris' party afterward. Believe me if you want.

Also, gay or not, I believe he will deliver the diffinitive Lex Luthor on film.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything. It's just that speculation bothers me. I understand if you know something I don't, but the fact is, there is no way to know. Therefore, I'm gonna go off what the man himself has said. I also think he's gonna kick ass as Luthor.

Oh, sorry. But he is really great actor.

Out of all the summer movies who do you guys think is the best actor?

I would say either Tom Hanks or Jonny Depp.

Add Kevin Spacey to that list.

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to this summers movies as opposed to last year. If I only had to watch 2 they would be SR and X3.

Of course, Spacey, Depp, Hanks, Cruise.

I do.

Not that BATMAN BEGINS wasn't/isn't a good movie, it's just that Superman, while having two sucky movies under his belt had two GROUNDBREAKING movies. Also, Chris Reeves is an "American Hero", and has left a great taste in the public's mouth as opposed to BATMAN RETURNS, FOREVER, and & ROBIN.

-R

Ah yes Superman 3 and 4 left a wonderful taste in my mouth. Batman is more popular then Superman. That is a fact. If Superman Returns does well it will be in part because Batman Begins was so great and did so well (especially on DVD).

Intersting. People think SR will make Hulk or BB numbers, but they don't want to believe that POTC2 can also make Indy 2 numbers and X3 will make FF numbers.

That's way too much IMO

I still think that Posideon is not a remake that people are dying to see.

Personally, I don't know why WB green light the movie. It' snot interesting enough, really. So, I will be bold and say that it won't be a hit. Just a gut feeling.

Yes, Batman is more popular then Superman :) If I ever mention superman to a non-comic book person, he/AND she would respond by "Batman is cooler".
