Awesome... you should get the one of them dancing in the ring too LOL that was hilarious

Chris Jericho recently spoke with Slam Wrestling and here are some of the highlights:

Triple H taking over WWE:
"He's going to take over the company. This isn't the year 2000 anymore where he was trying to bury me. Nobody wants to be Bruce Hart, where he takes over Stampede Wrestling and goes out of business two years later after his father had it for 40 years."

Returning to WWE:
"It could be two days down the road. I'm still a huge fan of the business. When it's time to go back, I'll go back."

Favoring a PG-13 product:
"I think I did better in the PG-13 environment. It's easier to get pops when you say, 'ass.' they're going 'tee-hee-hee, he said a swear word.' I wasn't really doing any swearing. I just go with the flow. If I have to do an X-rated environment, I'll do that. And if it's PG, I'll do that."

Link? I'm surprised he outright said that. :funny:

I read the whole thing. There's not much more to what he said than that.

I'm not sure if he meant kayfabe bury as in HHH the character burying him or if he meant REALLY bury as in Paul Levesque the wrestler trying to bury in.

If he meant REALLY bury I'm not totally surprised he said it. Jericho's always been pretty honest and he knows his talent speaks for itself. If he goes back he knows he still has value to WWE.

I'm was a little confused with the Bruce Hart/HHH comparisons though. I guess he's saying he knows HHH will work hard to devote all his energy to making sure WWE keeps on succeeded and will limit his ring time.

here it is

Jericho wrestling's renaissance man
By TIM BAINES - Ottawa Sun

Chris Jericho laughs as he is asked whether he'll be appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

"Yeah, at the same time I heard that, they said I was going to be the new singer of Velvet Revolver. Maybe I could do Dancing with the Stars to Velvet Revolver music," he says. "I'm still waiting for those calls."

Jericho is on another leave from the wrestling ring, a little R and R -- Rock and Roll. He's back to fronting his metal band Fozzy, with big plans for the summer. He's also out on the road, plugging his hugely successful second book --Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps.

The book is getting rave reviews, it's No. 13 on The New York Times bestseller list and No. 4 in the UK.

Jericho dishes on others, and isn't afraid to poke fun at himself.
"I write very honestly," he says. "People can relate to what I say about myself. I like to use myself as a foil. I know I'm not going to sue myself."

Some of the inner mechanisms of the "real" WWE are highlights of the book, particularly insight into owner Vince McMahon.

"It's a character study of both of us," says Jericho. "The bottom line is Vince saw something in me that I wasn't giving him. It's not like he's a son of a ***** or *******.

"In the end, my character became one of the best WWE has had."

It is a character that has morphed, adapting with the times.

"I didn't want to be the Hulk Hogan or Ricky Steamboat of wrestling," he says. "I wanted to be the Paul Stanley or David Lee Roth -- the showman. Being a frontman of a big party was how I wanted to do it."

Jericho says it's obvious Triple H is becoming the WWE kingpin.

"He's going to take over the company," says Jericho. "This isn't the year 2000 anymore where he was trying to bury me. Nobody wants to be Bruce Hart, where he takes over Stampede Wrestling and goes out of business two years later after his father had it for 40 years."

Jericho talks about his career highlights, most notably his Wrestlemania 19 showstopper with Shawn Michaels.

"We stole the show," says Jericho. "Putting on a match like that goes far and above winning a title. The office decides who wins a title. But we put the whole thing together."
Jericho says there's no set time when he will return to wrestling.

"It could be two days down the road," he says. "I'm still a huge fan of the business. When it's time to go back, I'll go back."

As for WWE's PG-13 product, Jericho says it doesn't really affect what he does.

"I think I did better in the PG-13 environment," he says. "It's easier to get pops when you say, 'ass.' they're going 'tee-hee-hee, he said a swear word.'

"I wasn't really doing any swearing. I just go with the flow. If I have to do an X-rated environment, I'll do that. And if it's PG, I'll do that."

Author ... musician ... wrestler ... as an entertainer, Jericho has made a difference. And he doesn't need a championship belt to validate that, either.

Slick made an appearance at WM 23, but he's not in the Hall of Fame yet, which is surprising considering he was the first African American manager in WWF history.

[YT]hOC2C7RQQhA[/YT]

They already got a video package up for HHH / Undertaker II. Nice cool change to have a narrator for it instead of replaying lines from said wrestlers (obviously not yet in this case) as well as the announcers. At least they used a proper camera angle to show the throat slit gesture. Can't wait!

With Heenan and Jimmy Hart already in the HOF, Slick is the next logical choice. In the 1980s, these guys were the real villains, more so than the wrestlers they managed.

Triple H will lose at Wrestlemania 27, but he's one of those that can lose to the Undertaker and yet at the same time not lose any credibility.

Anyone else feel the one match at mania thats absolutely no heat what so ever is the WHC match with Edge and ADR?

WrestleMania matches in my opinion should have some sort of history or a feud of some what.

HHH/Taker - both faced off 10 years ago at WM 17 and UT retired Triple H's best friend HBK a Year Prior.

Punk/Orton - Orton cost punk his world title in 2008 and punk cost Orton his Title Match at the Rumble and much more.

Cena/Miz - Cena/Miz had a feud back in 09 that Cena won and not to mention the whole nexus storyline where Miz and Cena butted heads all the time and The Miz Cost Cena the Rumble Match.

Rey/Rhodes
- Rey Broke Cody's Face with his exposed Knee Brace with the 619 shattering dashing cody rhodes good looks as well as his opportunity to be in the Rumble and Chamber match. Thus ruining his shot at going to mania for the Title now the inclusion of Dusty to help his son will be great.

Lawler/Cole
- Cole has been bad mouthing the king for months now also with his you cant touch me or your fired clause and has finally pushed the King over the Edge as seen on RAW.

Then we have Edge vs Del Rio which has zero history or feud other than a heel chasing a face's title how are fans gonna be interested in a heel chasing the title. You know without any sort of history behind it if this was a face chasing a title that would be different but it is'nt.

thoughts?

I've seen a few youtube videos of Sting's return in NC from fan's in the audience. He appears to be recovered from his shoulder injury and in better shape.

Here's a couple of photos of his new ring gear too

I think that while Miz has some history with Cena The Rock has stolen most of his heat going into the match and Miz just isn't as impressive in the ring as Del Rio anyway.

They seem to be trying to build some heat for Edge vs Del Rio. On last nights Smackdown I think they did a good job of that but its a little late. They are trying to play catchup because other than his feud with Mysterio Del Rio really hadn't done much before he won the Rumble. I'm not sure 5 weeks is enough time to really pull it off and make this feud as strong as it should be.
Miz vs Cena and Edge vs Del Rio are both lacking right now.

HHH vs Taker is feeling rushed and thus a little artificial. Its a simple yet good reason for a match but they dropped it on us with so little time before Mania that it doesn't feel like its as personal as it should be.

Funny enough of all the rumored matches so far this Lawler/Cole rivalry feels the most ready to happen. Its been brewing for a long time. People like Lawler and really despise Cole. Its *****bag heel heat bit its still heat.

STEVE AUSTIN'S RAW RETURN SET

By Dave Scherer on 2011-02-26 17:30:20

Steve Austin is scheduled to appear on the 3/7 edition of Raw, which will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas. The building is advertising his appearance on the show. Austin is currently taping the upcoming season of the new/old series "Tough Enough" forWWE.

ProMMAnow.com has an interview with Bobby Lashley at this link.

Some highlights:

Brock Lesnar and Dave Batista going into MMA, and whether he still talks to them: I haven’t talked to Brock. You know I’ve never really talked to Brock. When I went to WWE he was already out so our paths have never crossed so I’ve never even met him or even talked to him. Then as far as Dave Batista, we were pretty good friends when we were in the WWE but when we came out of the WWE, when he went into his fight deal, I think that his target was kind of set on that big fight and that big fight was supposed to be against me. So I think our relationship kind of went two different directions and I think the reason why he was wanting to do that was because he was wanting to use me as his big match and I think that’s what Strikeforce is really hoping for if they have that match with me against Dave. I haven’t really talked to him since I’ve been out of the WWE or since he’s been out of the WWE.

Potential MMA match with Batista: I’m open to a fight with almost anyone and Dave has been training. I’ve heard that he’s been training pretty hard and if that fight were presented I would definitely take it. Of course it is a fight for a lot of wrestling fans because a lot of wrestling fans out there want to see that fight. There are millions upon millions of wrestling fans, but I’m not going to decline that fight. If that fight were ever brought to me I would definitely sign in a second and fight him. That’s the way the fight business is. You have to fight so whoever is brought to you that is who you are going to be fighting.

Going back to wrestling: Man I love professional wrestling. Some people get out of professional wrestling and they’re real bitter for several different reasons. I don’t know, maybe it’s the travel, maybe it’s the people that you encounter when you are in the wrestling business, but for me I loved wrestling when I was in there. It was very time consuming and it was hard at the time when you were just thrust into an organization and there are a lot of really shady people in wrestling. I mean I dealt with them on a daily basis. But that’s not going to stop the fact that I love the sport. If I had an opportunity to go back to wrestling I would definitely consider it. I still do some wrestling. I go to Japan every couple months and I work with an organization out there with Inoki’s organization IGF (Inoki Genome Federation). So I still get that taste of wrestling going out there and working out with those guys. At the same time, there are usually a handful of fighters there. Like last time Josh Barnett was there so I was able to work out a little bit there and do some MMA training and then have the show. I’m completely open to professional wrestling anytime.

Gems welcome wrestling commentator Lawler
David DiCenzo

Posted: 02/26/2011 12:09 AM

TROTWOOD — He might just be the most recognizable voice in professional wrestling. But Jerry “The King” Lawler never expected a career as a color commentator.

During the Monday night television wars of the mid 1990s, World Wrestling Entertainment (then the World Wrestling Federation) owner Vince McMahon asked Lawler to temporarily fill in on a Raw broadcast because color man Randy “Macho Man” Savage had fled — to the competition.

“We put on the WCW (World Championship Wrestling) show and there was Randy Savage,” said Lawler. “He jumped ship without telling anybody.
“It was natural for me. Sixteen years later, I’m still doing it.”

But the Memphis-born wrestling legend and piledriver expert, the guest of honor for Jerry “The King” Lawler Night at tonight’s Dayton Gems game with the Evansville IceMen, still laces up the boots. Lawler, 61, just wrestled WWE champion The Miz for a belt last weekend and gets into the ring once or twice a week because his love of the business runs deep.

There’s a parallel between Lawler’s introduction to commentating and his start in pro wrestling. He’s an accomplished illustrator who once received a full tuition commercial arts scholarship from the University of Memphis and has done comic book work for characters like the Green Hornet, Zorro and Vampirella. Lawler was 17 when he sent a drawing of a match he and his father attended into a local television wrestling show.

“Tojo Yamamoto beat Jackie Fargo that night so I drew this caricature of Tojo doing this big karate chop and Jackie being chopped in half like a piece of cord wood,” said Lawler. “They used my caricature to illustrate what went on in the match and I became sort of like a courtroom artist. I became a ringside artist. Each week, I would illustrate what the outcome was of the live events.

“I thought if I could wrestle just one match, that’s all I want to do, then I could go back to being an artist the rest of my life. Forty-plus years later, I’m still wrestling but I’ve gotten back around to spending some time on my artwork.”

Lawler’s career as a wrestler, commentator, author, illustrator and businessman has spanned more than five decades, one of the highlights being his feud with the late actor/comedian Andy Kaufman. The King’s memorable slap of Kaufman on the David Letterman Show in 1982 recently ranked 30th on the Hollywood Reporter’s 80 Greatest Moments in TV History. Lawler played himself in the film Man on the Moon, a bio of Kaufman’s life starring Jim Carrey.

“I slapped Jim Carrey even harder than Andy Kaufman,” the King said, who unlike his experience with co-stars Courtney Love, Danny DeVito and Paul Giamatti, described filming with the star as “miserable.” “Carrey was trying to be so in character and he thought Andy Kaufman and I hated each other so he was playing the role.”

Rather than slap faces, Lawler will be using his hand to shake others tonight. He’s excited to be in Dayton for a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with fans. And the King likes hockey, calling the physical sport “wrestling on ice.” He actually lived in Amherst, 25 miles west of Cleveland, from the age of 8 to 16 and became a lifelong Browns and Indians fan after watching stars like Jim Brown and Rocky Colavito.

The outspoken Lawler even made a prediction for the Tribe’s upcoming season. “They’ll do pretty good for basically fielding a minor league team,” the King said.

Pop Diva vs. WWE Diva, and there was no hair-pulling

Published: Saturday, February 26, 2011, 10:00 AM Updated: Saturday, February 26, 2011, 10:28 AM

By Andrea Simakis, The Plain Dealer

Greetings, my darling sycophants. As you know, the Diva prides herself on donning a snorkel and diving into the murky depths of pop culture so you can bask on the sun deck licking the salt off the rim of your margarita glass.

So you can only imagine her furiously yanking on her wet suit when she received an e-mail from the WWE announcing its upcoming event at The Q.

"The Television trucks roll into Cleveland for WWE SmackDown (to air on SyFy) at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday, March 1. This is your opportunity to interview the Superstars of WWE."

Offered up for grilling were WWE Heavyweight Champion Edge and others the Diva had never heard of because she stopped watching wrestling back when the WWE was the WWF and Hulk Hogan was still a color found in nature.

A quick primer before we continue: During her dogged reportage, the Diva learned that we are no longer to call it "wrestling." It is, rather, "entertainment" or "sports entertainment." Happy to oblige, though the Diva would be remiss if she neglected to point out that WWE stands for "World Wrestling Entertainment." But why quibble?

Wrestlers aren't wrestlers anymore either -- they are "Superstars" or "Divas" though as my loyal kumquats know, there is only one true Diva and her first name is "Pop."

But yours truly had no interest in speaking to Mr. Edge, whose Mattel action figure resembles Jesus pumped up on HGH. I wanted an audience with a WWE Diva. After all, wouldn't she be the Ginger Rogersof wrestling? She has to do everything the guys do only in dental-floss thongs and push-up bras.

And that is how the Pop Diva came to have a virtual steel cage match (akaa heavily edited Q&A) with the WWE's Diva Kelly Kelly, nee Barbara Jean Blank.

Diva Kelly Kelly's ring persona is an exhibitionist famous for "Kelly's Expose," a "PG-13" striptease in which she almost doffs her top but is covered by a towel by a jealous boyfriend at the penultimate moment. She is wildly popular the world over as evidenced by "Oh! So Barbie: the official and top fan site for WWE Kelly Kelly" (barbie-blank.net). A sample postingfromWednesday-- "I wish Kelly Kelly will going my country: Vietnam."

Why, you ask, is her stage name not Diva Barbie Barbie? Oh, read on, my inquiring, shallow minions. Read on.

Hey, it's great to talk to another Diva.

You, too!

Where does Kelly Kelly come from? Is your given name Kelly?

No. But I don't know if I'm supposed to say.

Who added the other Kelly?

It was probably Vince [McMahon], my boss's idea, to go with Kelly Kelly. Because it's very unique, you know what I mean?

Yes! From now on, I'm going to be Diva Diva. How old are you?

I'm 24. I started when I was 19. I was the youngest Diva they've ever had.

So you entered the WWE at 19?

Yeah. I was in my first year of college and they found me. I was just doing some modeling on the side and going to school and they saw me in a catalog and asked if I wanted to wrestle for a living.

What catalog?

It was Venus Swimwear . . . it's a pretty big magazine that goes out everywhere in Florida.

When a scout said, "Hey, are you interested in the WWE?" Were you like, "No way. I'm gonna break a nail"?

They knew I had an athletic background. I was a gymnast for 10 years, and I've always been into sports. My agent was like, "It's kind of far-fetched. I don't know if you're interested" and I was like, "Heck yeah! Put me on a plane -- I wanna go!"

So when you went home and said, "Mom and Dad, I wanna be a wrestler," what did they say?

They're my No. 1 fans, honestly. They come to all the WrestleManias. . . . My 80-year-old grandmother comes to my shows, too, which is pretty awesome.

Does she get front-row seats?

She does. And all the wrestlers . . . they'll come up and hug [her]. It's pretty funny. My granny gets the royal treatment when she comes, so she likes it.

Is your granny coming to Cleveland?

No. She won't be there.

Too bad! Have you ever taught your granny any moves?

She'll be like, "Well, how do you do a headlock?" Just simple stuff.

Nobody's gonna steal her purse.

She's a sassy woman.

Do you have a signature move?

It's called the K2. I boot the girl in the stomach and I put my leg over her neck and . . . then I smash her face into the mat.

I heard you had seamstresses in the WWE.

We do.

Do you develop your own looks?

I do. I've been through a few different seamstresses. See, with me, I hate wearing the same thing twice.

It's because you're a fashionista, that's why.

Well, yeah! I'll try and mix and match stuff and I'll throw stuff together and just make it my own. I'll put Swarovski crystals on it. Whatever I have to do to make it my look, I'll figure it out. . . . I wore chaps a few years ago, and now I'm wearing like shorts and tops and I have my signature, long-sleeved little jacket with my name on it. It kind of keeps evolving.

Is your name written in Swarovski crystals?

On one of the jackets, yes.

That is awesome. What do you do with your nails? Do you have to keep 'em short?

Every week one of my bosses comes up to me and goes, "Lemme see your nails." He gets so mad if they're not done! Every week I have to be on it. If I break one, I have to get it fixed. But I keep 'em short and I keep 'em real natural, so usually they don't break. It's usually me biting 'em off.

Are there other Divas that let 'em grow into talons?

Usually the girls keep them pretty decent because I've been scratched before and it does not feel good. And we will not be afraid to tell one another, "Hey, you need to cut your nails."

I hear you traveled to Afghanistan this Christmas to meet with the troops.

Oh my gosh, it was so cool. We got to go to a bunch of camps and, like, go on the Black Hawks and we got to shoot some guns.

I have to ask you, did any soldiers get fresh and you had to body-slam them?

Um, they're actually very respectful but they get a little excited and wanna like hug you and stuff like that, which is fine, but it's funny because when Vince was with us, if a guy was like too huggy or something, he'd be like, "All right, get off the girls now."

Should have had Granny with you. Do you have to worry about other girls pulling your hair?

I do, I do! That's a big issue too 'cuz that's what the girls go for first -- the hair.

That's what I do.

I'll see hair [being ripped out] and I'm like, "Nooooooo!" But there's not really much you can do . . . trust me, I do the same -- I pull the girls' hair too. I'm probably getting paid back.

You're obviously in great shape. How many chin-ups can Kelly Kelly can do?

Oh, my gosh. Maybe 10 or 15.

There are a few detractors out there who insist you're not really wrestling, it's all fake. What would you say to them?

I just wanna punch people in the face when they say something like that. . . . Luckily, I haven't been severely injured, but I've . . . broken ribs and stuff. It's not as glamorous as it looks. Still, I love comin' to work every week.

Kelly, everything on you looks completely real to me, but . . .

Oh, it is. I'm not ashamed of it. It's all real. I love getting that question because I'm like, "Yes they are and I'm so proud."

Are there other Divas that have to worry about breast implants exploding when they hit the mat?

(The interview comes to a screeching halt, as the perfectly pleasant PR guy who's been listening in suggests we say good-bye.)

Watching the Kane dvd again and I've gotten to the Kane vs Shane McMahon Last man Standing and Ambulance matches.

Shane gets credit for being impressive in the ring but man he really is great in these matches. The athletic difference between father and son really is something. Shane can even work some.

I'd forgotten how well Kane can work when he's REALLY motivated. He does some fantastic work in these matches. He's still good but I feel like in recent years he's going through the motions unless he really feels the need to try hard. He really made Shane look even better in their matches.

Like most of the IWC, I gave the McMahons flack for taking up too much TV especially in feuds, but I do have to give a lot of credit to Shane. He's got so much potential, its a shame he had to be the boss's son. His match against Kurt Angle at KOTR 2001 won my respect.

But when it comes to the rivalry with Kane, the whole thing was awful. I remember Shane and Kane were having dinner at a restaurant or something. WTF was that all about? As for the two PPV matches, I thought the LMS match was quite dull, but the Ambulance Match was really enjoyable and made up for borefest in September. The feud went longer than it should've though because I thought it killed a lot of Kane's momentum. He should've been the first guy to feud with Goldberg for the first title defense, not being made to look like a buffoon by the guy that was in charge of running the WWE website.

The actual storyline with Shane was over the top (which is sadly usually the case with Kane) but I thought many of the actual matches were much better than I was expecting.

Like I said storyline wise it was par for the course with Kane. Everything from the Kane vs HHH/Katie Vick angle, Kane and Lita angle, Kane vs fake Kane, Kane/Rey mask feud, May 19th, Kane vs Khali, and Kane vs Edge/Bearer kidnapping have been god awful. Its like Kane is a sh** magnet for bad wrestling storylines.

It's a clutered design, I think he should ditch the all in one,

The red ribbing on his waist just looks really bad.

Its the metallic red ribbing thats bothering me. He's had something like that before but it wasn't as garish a color and it wasn't as much bunched together on his tights.

Here I think its a little more spread out on his outfit.

Anyone else laugh when that promo video calls Triple H a "Majestic warrior"?

Anyone else concerned about Mistico or Sin Cara in WWE

I am skeptical if he can capture the audience like Rey has for a couple reasons

1.he does'nt speak English
2.mask covers his whole face so fans cant read his emotions from his eyes and mouth
3.likely not as charismatic as rey and del rio
4.has the disadvantage of not being the 1st masked luchador(likely wrong on this but rey is the most known) in wwe like rey is so he may be seen as a rey knock off.

what he does have on rey is he is 28 and moves like rey from ECW/WCW days

they did it with Taz

Thanks

Chris Jericho recently spoke with Slam Wrestling and here are some of the highlights:

Triple H taking over WWE:
"He's going to take over the company. This isn't the year 2000 anymore where he was trying to bury me. Nobody wants to be Bruce Hart, where he takes over Stampede Wrestling and goes out of business two years later after his father had it for 40 years."

That's great , just outright confirms it , lol.. He's right though Triple H isn't going to sink the company. He's had his time and won't be concerned over taking the spotlight.

Those are really cool matches. I also love the Shane vs Kurt Angle match at King of the Ring 2001.

Those concerns are valid. The issue is that if the WWE did not sign Mistico now, while Rey is still in the WWE, that when he leaves, they are up the creek without a paddle in appealing to the Latino demographic. Rey is likely to leave soon. His time is almost over. He knows that and the WWE knows that. Having Sin Cara means that the WWE can groom his replacement while Rey enters the twilight of his NFL career. This way, the WWE doesn't have to scramble to find a replacement for Rey or even turn Del Rio face. With Sin Cara in the WWE, they don't have to turn Del Rio into a face and they don't have to rush to find a replacement for Rey when Rey leaves. By signing him now, the WWE can slowly make him the guy to appeal to the Latinos and wait until Rey passes the torch to him. I've always thought that now would be a perfect time for the WWE to groom Rey's replacement. When they signed Super Crazy and Psicosis, I thought at that time it was the wrong time to groom someone to replace Rey since at the time, Rey was showing no signs of retiring.

Basically, it's like what the Green Bay Packers did to Aaron Rodgers. They drafted him even though they already had Brett Favre. They let Favre go, and three seasons later, Rodgers led the Packers to a Super Bowl title.

That's great , just outright confirms it , lol.. He's right though Triple H isn't going to sink the company. He's had his time and won't be concerned over taking the spotlight.

It'll be interesting to see what he says in his final book.

Those are really cool matches. I also love the Shane vs Kurt Angle match at King of the Ring 2001.

Shane O Mac took a real beating in that match. I just have to give the guy a lot of credit for what he did back then considering he wasn't a regular wrestler. We wasn't some a**hole like Russo stepping into the ring. Shane actually worked hard. I just wish he was coming back to run the WWE one day because I have a feeling he could do a better job than his sister and brother in law.

Another sign that Hell has Frozen over: Shawn Michaels, The Rock and Stone Cold all have Twitter.

Anyone else concerned about Mistico/Sin Cara in WWE

You never know. I assume he'll have everyone behind him and will be an alternative to Rey. Even though he's replacing the Rey's role in the company I have a feeeling he'll be able to get over and possibly be his own thing.

Shane was awesome. I'd like him to come back because I know he'd bring that mma type of influence.

CM Punk and Bills Linebacker Shawne Merriman had a little twitter war over
the weekend, clearly Punk got the best of Merriman

Quote:Watching Shawne Merriman of the buffalo bills hit on our divas and strike out, reminds me of the Bills in the super bowl. #choke

Quote:@CMPunk I was just giving you guys some hope look like you were struggling by the pool. Sympathy from Lights

Quote:@CMPunk how about I come and deliver a nice special lightsOut ass woopin tonight Costa Rican Style

Quote:@shawnemerriman if you could get to a QB as fast as you ran after our divas maybe you'd make headlines being a pro bowler and not a creep.

Quote:@CMPunk its bad when I thought you worked at the hotel and not wrestle I almost handed you my f'ing towel go do some push ups

@shawnemerriman clearly I have defeated you. However, You will have plenty of time to think of a better come back while you ride the bench for another entire season. Good luck getting to the super bowl! With love, CM Punk.

- Cleveland.com features a new tongue-in-cheek interview with WWE Diva Kelly Kelly to promote the upcoming show there. The interviewer noted that she learned to refer to WWE as "sports entertainment" and not "wrestling", and that their performers are "Divas" and "Superstars", not wrestlers. Here are the highlights:

WWE officials keeping up on her appearance:
"Every week one of my bosses comes up to me and goes, "Lemme see your nails." He gets so mad if they're not done! Every week I have to be on it. If I break one, I have to get it fixed. But I keep 'em short and I keep 'em real natural, so usually they don't break. It's usually me biting 'em off."

People saying WWE is fake:
"I just wanna punch people in the face when they say something like that. . . . Luckily, I haven't been severely injured, but I've . . . broken ribs and stuff. It's not as glamorous as it looks. Still, I love comin' to work every week."

Being all natural:
"Oh, it is. I'm not ashamed of it. It's all real. I love getting that question because I'm like, "Yes they are and I'm so proud.""

The interviewer then asked Kelly Kelly if other Divas worry about their breast implants exploding in the ring. Kelly didn't get to answer as the WWE handler who was overseeing the interview ended it abruptly.

- The Fayetteville Observer reports that 3,500 fans attended Thursday night's TNA iMPACT tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

- Scott Steiner shared his thoughts on TNA going live with the following on his Twitter: "On the road -did Tv tapings in Fayetteville NC on thursday-TNA needs to go live on thursdays."

- Hulk Hogan is suing Southland Imports and Suntrup Automotive Group in Florida because he says a commercial they have uses Hogan's likeness and implies that he endorses them by imitating his voice and using his catch phrases. Hogan cites heavy use of the word "brother", referring to a man's muscles as "guns" and a reference to "Hulkamaniacs."

Hogan is seeking an unspecified amount of damages. Hogan lost his case against Post Cereals last year for the "Hulk Boulder" Cocoa Pebbles cereal character.
