I've been a big fan of the Zelda series since it began. I own nearly every version, every Sequel, so on and so forth. I'm currently playing Phantom Hourglass.

My question to you all is, for future installments, what do you want to see and what are your favorite moments in the previous games?

Mine is Ganondorf from OoT. Converse amongst yourselves.

Come on Guys, Dont be shy...

Huge Zelda fan as well although the only Gameboy one I've played and beat was the first one on the original. Never got into portable gaming that much since I was busy playing on the main systems.

Got a Wii about a week ago and a few days ago started playing Twilight Princess. Last night I finished the Desert Temple. These games have always been fun especially the dungeons and boss fights. Love how the Wii is backwards compatible so I can play my Zelda Collection that was made for Gamecube.

Fav. moment from previous game would have to be in OoT when you first see and get to fight Ganon(beast form) in 3D. Ganondorf(human form) was ok but I still will always prefer his pig/beast form they had in all of the previous games.

^ Thank's FigmanJ. I thought that that was a great moment too. I loved how the story expanded what was already known about Hyrule from Link to the Past.

Large Zelda fan here.

Have played almost everygame I am sure.

The best for me was OoT. Of course the more adult themed Hyrule of TPrincess was a great adventure too I had just become too old to really enjoy it like I would have if I was younger. That said it was still great fun. Wind Waker was a really good game too if not a little short.

I love all Zelda games. Yes, I even think Wind Waker is a masterpiece. I just think they are so compelling, clever and immersive that the new mechanics and tricks in each game make it worth the journey. Not to mention the gameplay which changes brilliantly in every game (save for TP, because people wanted another OOT and *****ed when it was too much alike. Still a great game and the wolf form was new).

I'd rank them like this:

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Majora's Mask
3. Twilight Princess
4. A Link to the Past
5. Wind Waker

Anyway, my favorite moment is the entire 50+ hours it took me upon first playthrough of Ocarina of Time, my first Zelda game. From the opening cinematic to the ned of the credits. The game continually surprised me and kept my jaw dropped the entire time in awe and wonder.

I couldn't stand those whiners that said it was too much like OoT. I just made it to the snow mountain area a night or two ago and yes while there are plenty of similarities to OoT it still feels like a new game. I think they did a great job with it as well as MM and WW.

Thanks for added to the Thread. I loved Twilight Princess, your are going to be in for some great surprises. I felt that TP was pretty similar to OoT, Thats one reason I love it, it continued the story (sorta) from OoT and did anyone notice that the Map was basically that same as OoT? Well the Wii version was reversed. The complexity of the buildings, the simplicity of the controls...

OoT in my opinion was a wonderful game and am glad TP followed suit. I havn't played WW yet but I'm looking forward to it after I play PH.

WW actually surprised me. I also enjoyed that one a lot. Some people said it was too short, but I'll have to disagree. There was quite a bit to do and get in that game for hearts and other things.

I just beat the Temple of Time in TP and its a good game, but the awful story and goofy "see 'n say" style (a character repeating a phrase such as "ooogghhhhh" everytime they say something new) are almost unforgivable. Whats weird about this one is that some of the character designs are great like the lizard men and goblins and most of the bosses, but the human characters and things like that dumb chicken thing that meets you in dungeons are mostly still bad like OoT, a game that I mostly hated. I am still a big Zelda fan though inspite of this, with ALttP and Link's Awakening being my favorite and probably TP and the original after that. The best part of the series for me is the ending sequence of A Link to the Past and all the ancillary characters in that game.

I do not think the story of TP is that bad at all....I mean the wolf thing may have a few people angry but I think on the whole it is good.

TP does start a little slow, but by the end the story explodes. I love Midna, she was written very well.

Yes she even over shadows Zelda...which was not that bad. I know the game has Zelda in the title but still it was nice to save another princess for a change.

Yes it may have been a bit slow but once the worlds open up it became massive. I love every area of the world in that game.

^ What was your favorite area of Hyrule in TP? I loved the Bridge of Eldin. That was beautiful the first time you get there.

The one that gets warped away mid game? Yes the fight with the fat orc guy on the boar.

The secret forest where the time temple is, and lake hylia is very good.

Just the vast scope of Hyrle field in general too.

Lake Hylia is great. Probably my choice.

Did anybody beat the Cave of Ordeals?

loved twiglight princess and ocarina of time

twightlight princess is better imo just cause it is oot but better in almost every way I enjoyed playing it so much

didnt bother gettin wind waker borrowed it for a bit from a mate but just didn't like it enough to finish it

In a list of fave games? If you look at them as games you've never played before:

Link to the Past
Twilight Princess
Wind Waker
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask

Though, maybe the Minish Cap should be up there...

My fave scene was LttP when you first get the Master Sword.

I couldn't get through it all, and by the time I got down a bit, Super Paper Mario came out and I already beat Ganon, so, you know. I gave up, please forgive me.

I forgive you but go back and do it now :)

I'm finally trying to play Twilight Princess.

I just beat the baboon and took his gale boomerang.

I have a few questions about Twilight Princess. How many levels are there to that endurance challenge in the Desert?

As well as, is thier a point to the dog/bone and two old guys in Hyrule town at night time? The ones staring at each other from the alley.
