Exclusive: The Zoom One-Sheet!

Source: Columbia Pictures
June 16, 2006

ComingSoon.net/SuperheroHype.com has your exclusive first look at the one-sheet for Columbia Pictures' Zoom, hitting theaters this August. Directed by Pete Hewitt, the superhero comedy stars Tim Allen, Courteney Cox, Chevy Chase, Spencer Breslin, Rip Torn, Kate Mara, Michael Cassidy and Ryan Newman.

In the Revolution Studios film, Allen plays Jack, formerly Captain Zoom, an out-of-shape former superhero who has lost his powers. Jack is reluctantly called back into action to turn a ragtag group of kids into a new generation of superheroes and save the world from certain destruction.

Damn, a stretchy kid AND an invisible kid. :(

Yeah I already saw this movie, it was called X-Men.

They lost me when I saw the poster.
Then I read the phrase "...a ragtag group of kids..." and they somehow lost me again

You would think they could try some different powers besides stretching and invisibility, but then again originality is in short supply in hollywood.

I know what's the tim allen character do? shoot flames out of his hands or something?

So far I'm seeing rip offs of Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl and Ms. Marvel/Rogue. I'm wondering how many other superheroes they'll rip off.

whatever happening to the thing that you couldn't cop a characters likeness?

what since the invisble person is a guy and the super strong person is a girl its fine?

there still copying. they should at least give marvel something.

Well this was a Fox picture and they have the rights to the X-Men and FF franchises so im guessing Marvel didnt want to strain relationships with the holder of possibly its two biggest names, comic wise. But now its at Columbia which holds Spider-Man so...

This movie looks like crap and a rip-off.
Tim Allen, himself, probably won't be able to save the movie.

...and I hate Spencer Breslin!
I don't know why, but I just can't stand seeing his face.
