It’d be pretty funny and very hard to twist as a positive even in state propaganda TV. But I very much want Ukraine to get back every piece of territory lost as a priority. The warlike aspirations might quieten down amongst even some brainwashed citizens when they realise that the 2 day special operation that they were lied to about turned into a multi-year war in which they may have thrown everything away to achieve nothing and even crazier if they lost territory into the bargain.

It definitely puts Russia in a bad position. You can't let Ukraine mess around in your own borders. And to do that, you are going to have to pull stuff out of your offensive. And then it begs the question, of just how much more you have to invest in defense on your border from another potential Ukraine expedition into Russia. And the domestic pressure against the Special Operation is going to get stronger.
