Some owners would do better to fire themselves rather than the coaches who take a clearly flawed, and injured, team to the east finals.

Speaking of Van Gundy, a long, long time ago when he was coaching, being the feisty guy that he is, he got into a scuffle with someone from the other team. I don't remember if it was one of the coaches or players or what, but what I do remember clearly is that when he got up, his combover was sticking straight up in the air and he had what looked like a mohawk.

My greatest memory of Van Gundy was him grabbing Alonzo Mourning’s leg while a fight was going on. Zo went after someone on the Knicks and he was trying to run across the floor, dragging Van Gundy along with him.

If I was a coach, I wouldn't want Zo going after one of my guys either. LOL

I'll bet Van Gundy took some ribbing after that one, but I'll bet his guys appreciated it (albeit while shaking their heads and laughing). Van Gundy looks like something that fell out of Zo's pocket.

Knicks/Heat was such an amazing rivalry in the 90’s. Every game basically included a brawl. My favorite being when PJ Brown threw Charlie Ward like a rag doll into the press seated on the end zone.

While Oakley only played for the Knicks at the end of the 80s, I don't seem to remember anyone trying that with Charles........

I’m dying here! All of a sudden I haven’t been able to get ABC in on my airtv. So I missed the game.

But I would’ve been ticked if I’d have seen the Thunder lose.

Hali hit a jumper with .03 left. the ONLY time the pacers led last night. they'd be down 12, then it was 6, down 15, next thing i knew it was a 1-point game
