10 Reasons Why You Should Eat Less Meat:

well, if you're gonna limit yourself to one meat then I'd have to say fatty fish like salmon are your best bet.

To be honest I'm not sure. I usually have 1-2 glasses of milk, occasionally a protein shake thing, and usually I'll have either beans or fish as my ''meat'' with dinner...

I honestly don't even know how much protein someone like me would even need, but I don't feel weaker or anything and I've been working out MORE since I stopped eating the meat....

So I dunno. Hopefully I don't die :o

Most people looking to build or maintain muscle aim for a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. I know you're trying to drop lbs(or ell-bees as Terry would say) but I'd keep your intake high regardless :)

Are you serious? That seems like so much protein...

Well, I eat fish-- Which is the best meat for you
Except tilapia, which may be terrible for your cardiovascular health (it's extremely high in Omega-6 fatty acids...which are bad).

Awh crap, I've been eating tilapia for breakfast lunch and dinner :csad:

There was a news report that came out recently that suggested that by weight, tilapia may be worse for your heart than bacon. For dramatic effect, they brought out a burger, a donut, etc. and said that people may as well just eat those things.

People do eat those things every day though haha, so it shouldn't be an issue whether or not I'd be eating that fish (which I actually have never had)

Granted, but people have been eating that fish for a long while now under the assumption that it's very healthy. It's kind of funny in that way.

All meat is good and I will never stop eating it.

I'm glad I can't eat tilapia.

But I need to eat meat, ferrets are obligate carnivores.

This reminds me of the really good burger I had the other day. Mmmmmm....

And I love doughnuts... apparently they are one and the same so BRING ON THE FISH

Doughnuts > Tilapia

Salmon > Doughnuts

Filet Mignon > anything

Ferrets are evil little bastards.

:cmad:

Would you eat a Ferret?

No, but only because I've owned one and have been in close contact with them. Same reason for me not eating tilapia. It's kind of disturbing to eat an animal that you've sold to people as a pet.

I'd eat a ferret if it was an absolute need for survival, but not recreationally.

Sick thing is I totally ate rabbit when I had a pet rabbit
