Gravity doesn't just disappear once you leave the atmosphere.

It follows a mathematical formula.

F = -G(m1*m2)/r^2

Agreed, gravity has nothing to do with an atmosphere, one is a fundemental force the other is a combination of gases.

The mangas are much more adult and very funny especially the early Dragonball ones. Not quite lost girls but the implication is often clear.
