Jan 2002. Was a lurker going back to Spider-man Hype. Joined the forums after lurking a couple months

What’s your favorite forum?

The Hulk forums (before it was killed), and most of the other forums Batman, Superman, etc. Recently General Movies.

What brought you here?

Interaction, engaging conversation, posting turnover and lack of moronic trolls. That last one fluctuated quite a bit.

What made you stay?

Some people, but honestly it's recently soured. Don't really like the vibe here recently, getting as crappy as IMDB and the CHUD boards in some ways.

What is your Hype Pet Peeve?

People who just dump negativity vehemently on some films, like it's their job to be THAT ONE PERSON who has to *****. And the others who try to appease anyone these people thinking negativity as valid content to a conversation. But that's a problem everywhere, everyone thinks they have credentials to be a critic.

My car is pretty tight right now.

What is your greatest regret?

Going into the Art Institute, or not being able to diagnose my recently passed away cat in time to do anything. Also, i would say just staying in the friend zone with some old female friends way past the expiration date before I met my wife.

What is your greatest achievement?

Getting Married this past Halloween. Also, got a couple pieces of my art at various museums, dark rides, amusement parks, some low budget movies and a tv show, inspiring people to make cool ****.

Oh, and being on the cover of a Marvel Comic. Not really an achievement since some artist copped my likeness, but still, not many people can say that...

I think it was a Goose, or a Wizard. My High School teams were not notable.

That "Did he say 10 or 6" topic from The Dark Knight forum. My god, that was such a pointless, nonsensical discussion. Why in the heck would anyone think the Joker would say 10? I heard all these people coming up with explanations, and none of them made a damn lick of sense. It's like hearing people talk about Loose Change/ 9/11, if you obstruct reason and reality, then it becomes plausible...

Have you ever been skiing? Yes, tried it, not very good.

Have you ever gone caving? Not the way your supposed to do it, but explored a little too deep into caverns and mines than I should with no equipment.

Have you ever gone parasailing? Nope, never got down swimming to pull that kind of thing off.

Would you ever bungee jump? Given the opportunity, yes. But I've hurt my back a couple times, so I'm not sure if it's a great idea to even try it 9much like most of the stuff you listed here)

Were you also on the Hulk movie boards back in 2003? Yup, was a member of Hulkmovie.com's boards for a long time as well. I might be remebered as the guy who hated everything I heard about it, till I inadvertantly seen the workprint and flip-flopped my opinion.


What is your dream vacation? I would like to do a self-improvised Ghost Tour of Ireland, Scotland, England/ Northern Europe. I'm a history buff, strong interest in Ghost Stories, and would like to visit ancestral homelands while I'm there. It would be perfect to have it take a couple months.

Do you think the Hulk will have a prominent role in the Avengers? I hope so, but I'm not very trusting of Marvel with Hulk properties of late. I just hope they bring Ed back as Bruce, he was my pick for the part ever since I seen Fight Club.

Do you find married life different then what you imagined? Pretty much what I expected, I was with my wife 13 years before we tied the knot, so there are no surprises.

Do you still read Hulk comics? I was, up until I seen that they were turning people into 'Hulks" in the recent storyline. It's a major pet peeve, since there is only one Hulk, Robert Bruce Banner. Not everyone turns into a "Hulk", unless your a bad writer. Speaking of that, I am not a fan of Loeb or his Red Hulk.

Will you be attending comic con in San Diego this year? I wish, maybe one year...

What's Your Fave F13 Movie? Part 6 (Jason Lives), part 4 and the remake as a tie for 2nd.

Being a resident of Florida...How often do you go to the beach? Not enough, IMO. I love the West Coast (Clearwater, Venice) to the point that it's where me and the wife did our Wedding Ceremony last Halloween.

Have you ever gone to MGM, Universal Studios, Sea World, or Disney theme parks? Well, I just moved from being 2 miles away from Universal. I worked in the Scenic-Theming Industry for a bit, so I got to see more of the parks than others usually get to see. In living here for 9 years, I have never been into the Disney Parks yet, not much to really draw me in. Worked inside, yes, done the tourist thing, no. I'll get around to it eventually.

Have you ever seen a shuttle launch or landing? Not up close, but if it's clear you can see the rockets go up from anywhere in Central Florida.

Well, like I said above, I don't care for the rampant negativity/ bashing in the guise of Opinion, and the apathy for trollish behavior. also, I do not appreciate shutting me out of Avatar threads for calling out Trolls, no matter what color their name is. Again, like I said, I've given up on thinking that Admin's will put certain people in their place for what I see as obvious bias and spreading negativity because no one tells them to stop, and I just started looking for other places for conversation and debate.

How mad are you at Warner Bros for not allowing Platinum Dunes to make a F13 part 2. Seeing as how it's tied as your second fave movie.

Were you disappointed that Rob Zombie's Halloween wasn't a stand alone movie? To be honest, I was disappointed in the execution of Halloween 2 along Lauries storyline, but Slasher films spawn sequels. I expected sequels, I'm just happy that Rob closed his story. Let the Weinsteins and the Akkads butcher it more.

What are your thoughts on the new Scream trilogy? Never been a fan of the Scream films, I think Kevin Williamson is a hack. My Wife liked the first 2, but even she agreed the 3rd one was a convoluted wad of crap.

I think its more a less Warner Bro's fault rather then PD, seeing how WB owns the rights to F13. But who knows perhaps if NOES does well enough they will greenlit both sequels.
