I find it fun, and I like to see people discussing my vastly fascinating personage. Also, I demand a shiny new one as befitting my red status.

Favorite version of Hannibal Lecter?

The Silence of the Lambs. But I like both Hopkins and Mads Mikkelsen (as indicated by my avatar). I really enjoy the NBC Hannibal series with Mikkelsen. Brian Cox's was bland to me.

If you and Elijah Wood met, will you be close as brothers?

I hope not. That could make the rampant sex awkward.

Favorite Tom Hardy movies?

My favorite movies that Tom Hardy happens to be in are Inception and The Dark Knight Rises. But I consider Hardy's best performances to be Stuart: A Life Backwards, Bronson, and Warrior (thus far).

Honestly, I try to be that teacher who's also your buddy. I try to still one of the "bros". I try not to overly moderate.

The imagination, and the ability to make up whatever you want. The creative freedom. The escapism from the dullness of daily life.

The Melting Pot. Obscenely expensive but oh-so-worth-it fondue restaurant. Closest to me is about 50 minutes away in Cleveland. I haven't been for years.

What is your strangest habit?

I have to have labels facing me, on everything. Whenever I worked drive-thru at Burger King, everyone knew afterwards because every ketchup packet in the whole pile was turned right side up.

Probably Victorian times.

Germany. Heritage stuff.

The appeal of Sex and the City is a little beyond me.

I thought the Gargoyles cartoon was great and had a better backstory and more depth and complexity than your average animated series.

Um. Probably the Third Reich. Not because I'm itching to scream SIEG HEIL, but I find it fascinating for historical reasons.

I tend to believe any good or bad experience shapes who we are, so I don't really believe in changing the past.

That said, if I could do high school over again (which I have no desire to do, because it wasn't a very happy experience) I wouldn't be such a snob or such a snitch or pretend to be a raging homophobe to classmates who I'm pretty sure knew I was gay before I did.
