3 steps to driving an 89 Anton car.

1: Get a car you can afford + drive.
2: Strip the body panels & adapt the car for looks/practical driving/parking, etc.
3: Hand sculpt the body over your frame using steel/aluminium/fibreglass/foam/cardbord & string (whatever it takes..).

sorry I forgot....

4: Make sure it is road legal (where ever you live).

Long live the dream.:)

(Sounds easy doesn't it?)

I've got a '79 Lincoln Continental that I am soooo tempted to cut up for a Batmobile replica....except, being a fan of the Animated Series, I think I'd want to bring that one to life.....do any of you guys know of anyone who has done this?

like you could actually drive it on the street.:/

Why wouldn't you be able to?....It would be a much easier project than the '89 Bat....may be a bit long, but people drive limos don't they?...Of course it would have to be outfitted with mirrors, windshield wipers, etc...

Building the car is not a problem...I have pretty good connections in the custom car hobby, I just wanted to know if anyone ever built an Animated-inspired Batmobile. If you are worried about whether you could actually drive a Batmobile, I'd be more concrned about the '89 or '95....have you ever seen them in person...they are massive!:)

You know they are building a Kit Car version off of an Impala so anyone can build one.

kit will be available this year at $ 9,500.00 most people use a impala chassis. Any chassis needs to be made longer.

Dont fall from this slimey crook's lies.
Don Currie once purchased Black Beauty mold from late Bob Butts and refused to pay resulting court decision to return the molds.
Before returning the said mold, this guy pulled a splash mold and sold to other people for profit claiming it was the original mold when there was no writing or affidavit to the effect.
I don't know much about the 89 mobile maybe he cleaned up his act since then but if his 66 car is any indication then you all should steer away from this crook.

I stopped going to K.I.T.T. and BTTF Delorean forums b/c of similar backstabbing and swindling among members. Looks like batmobile community is just as bad :csad:

1989 batmobile kit http://www.batmobile89.com/BatmobileKit.htm

Above 2 are the same person- ie halestorm and batmobile89.com- a current 89 batmobile kit manufacturer who is trying to dominate the limited market by false statements. - Yes a sad reflection of some people.
