if you like anime, you're gay, i'll leave it at that.

back to the news, i really really really want bill to be the one that jabs the hanzo sword in O-ren's dad's head. That dude looked an awful lot like Bill, and whenever I see the scene, I always think of the ringed-man as bill.
1. dont ever ***in use the word "gay" as an insult.......thats an automatic ban.

2.david carradine himself confirmed the man is indeed bill.

3.re-read 1. and 2. so that you never forget:o :o :o :o :o

Oh where or where did you quote this from? An interview somewhere? Where's the linkage?

Umm, because Tarantino says in about fifteen years, he wants to make a film called KILL THE BRIDE where Nikki comes and tracks the Bride down.

Back to the news, the anime prequels could be very sweet.

I'm pretty sure the "Kill the Bride" thing is a joke at George Lucas' expense. Y'know, like making fun of how Lucas waited twenty years before making his prequels.

still no word on the special edition DVD release of kill bill?

This should be interesting,I hope it's very graphic :( :p

Awesome. Two new Kill Bill's coming out. That just made my day.

God forbid I have to look up an article to back up someone else's claims. Coming Soon Dot Net article (scroll down to the very bottom)

Tarantino also added that he would like to make two anime "Kill Bill" prequels. The first would be an origin film about Bill and his mentors, while the second would be another tale including The Bride.

Most of the article is about other movies in production by Tarrantino and/or Rodriquez.

I found this part to be rather insipid.
More zombie action follows as the two escape the hospital. In a later scene, Rodriguez offers McGowan a gift – a heavy-duty machine gun that clips onto her stump. Now with a machine gun as a leg, McGowan mows down several zombies with one, effective round-kick spray!

Okay.... cross a thug from Dark Man with Ash from Evil Dead... make the character a female... add zombies... and you get...

Um,yeah your link is totally not working for me :( :o

Sounds cool but I'm not counting on it. I'm still waiting for the Whole Bloody Affair he promised about two years ago:mad:

I'd rather the uncut special edition Kill BIll DVD would just come out already.

Uhm... 1/4 of the movie was Anime... or really Anime-esque. Tarantino was very influenced by Anime and old Japanese samurai movies in general when he made the fights.

If you notice the fights in the Japan chapter and you see a Samurai Anime you'll find many similarities, even the fight between O-Ren and Bride was really based on 70's-80's anime, especially with the spagetti western music on the back ground. The China chapter was very Kung Fu movie style and Anime style.

Anime's not "kiddie stuff" if you think about it. It's really great. Watch Ghost in the Shell, and it helps if you watch it in Japanese with subtitles.

Not really "Anime-esque" either. I agree some parts were but not 1/4 of either movie.

Meh, two more films made of nothing but stolen scenes.
