I just watched that and I thought the Wizards defense was MIA. Toronto looked like a high school squad.:down If I was their coach, I would shake my head, jump back on the bus, and wonder why I'm living in Toronto for these guys. That was horrible.

Well that's what Andre Iquodaugla (sp?) said too, he thought although Kobe played incredible Toronto's defense was pathetic. He should have "only" gotten 50-60 if they played defense

Speaking of Dre, that's a dude who needs to be in the Dunk contest this year, his dunks are nasty

Yes, he does. The NBA needs to bring the Dunk contest back. It hasn't been the same for a long time. Last year was much better, and I hope this year will be the same.

Funny, people say the dunk contest hasn't been the same for a long time, yet the two years that J Rich won and had Desmond Mason and others challenging were two of the best years in the past decade or more. Even the commentators in one night went from saying the same thing you did, to after seeing J Rich pull off some amazing dunks that it is "officially back."

It just goes up and down, a few good years here, a few bad years there.

Last year was an exception. Every other year for awhile has been. . . meh.

uh, actually I'm sitting in my seat. There were great singular performances, but the overall fan participation, big name players or ferocious upstart rookies, and hype surrounding the event was . . . meh.

I will give you that for the year's Carter and Mason won, but the years J rich won, the finals vs. Mason and I can't remember if he faced off him again or not were some of the greatest showdowns in the events history.

^No, he's joining Dirk Diggler and doing a rap album.........

So let me get this straight.....Ron Artest IS going to Sacramento?

Nope. "Ron Ron's" agent (hope it's not another TO situation:rolleyes:) decided against it. Once that happened the Kings became worried, and pulled out of the deal.

Go read the write-up at www.espn.com

well, i heard its on again.. go fig

As I said a few weeks ago, Artest and Peja have been officially traded (pending league approval). Peja will now flourish in the pacers system and return to his pervious form, or close to it, and the Pacers are going to become a much more serious threat now.

As for the Kings, this can only help push them into the playoffs, yes this season.

Not with Peja's lack of defensive ability. Theyll make the playoffs but they wont go deep, which ultimately, is the goal.

I never said they would go deep, but they are a much better team now. Pound it inside with O'neal, Crosher(sp) and jackson, then kick it out to Peja.

well my 11 0 clock news said it was a done deal. Peja for Ron

Nice. Pistons are 35-5 now, matching the historical start the 1984 Detroit Tigers had.........
