2-2. Pivotal Game 5, next.

WINNER TAKE ALL! MWAHAHAHAAH! :D :D

The reports of the Heat's demise were greatly exaggerated.

Miami finally got active on the perimeter and a big effort off the bench. Posey, Mourning and Anderson were huge. Wade & Shaq brought the good stuff early and set the tone. Best all around effort by far. They got a little sloppy late in the toward the end of the third, but held it down.

2-2, with another at the Triple A on Sunday. The Heatians need to keep it going and take the lead.

Heat set a record for least points allowed in any quarter in the Finals. :D

Wow, evened up. I didn't expect this happen. Dallas better play smarter and get on the ball.

This could've easily been a 3-1 advantage and now that it's 2-2 makes it even harder. Oh well, this is actually a series now. :) :D Not that I'm happy about it, but hey, what can you do? :O

Dirk had an off night eh? I still say the Mavs will win the series, but damn they're making it harder on themselves. At least Stern can make his money by having the series go longer.

THAT is the Miami Heat, boys and girls. Not the imposters that we saw in the first 2 games. They got a little careless with the ball and had too many offensive fouls in the 4th, but other than that it was probably one of their best games in these playoffs. If they can keep up their defense and bench play then they'll be in good shape.

Even if Miami wins Game 5 (which I believe they can, obviously) the question will then be can they win it in Dallas?

If Dallas keeps playing the way they're playing, then they will lose Game 5 and will probably lose the series. I said once and I'll say it again, our defense clearly isn't as tight and as strong as it needs to be.

You don't beat the Spurs or the Suns by playing lazy defense, and looking at the stats, it appears that they really just got downright pathetic and wasted a chance to go up 3-1 against the Heat.

Dallas better get a fire under their ass and beat the Heat, or else they'll be watching them celebrate in Miami.

I believe they must win game 5 in order to win the championship. That way they only have to win 1 out of 2 in Dallas instead of 2 straight, which would be extremely difficult. If they go to Dallas up 3-2 I like their chances. They've won in Chicago to close out the series, won 2 straight in Jersey, and won in Detroit so they CAN win on the road. They just need to play the way they played tonight with fewer mistakes.

Obviously, the Heat have all of the momentum right now.

Dallas can't stop Wade. Period. And if Miami can continue to get contributions from the likes of Posey and Zo like they did tonight, Dallas is going to have a hard time getting back this series.

Game 5 is definitely a must. Miami needs to keep the momentum and close out well at home. Taking two in Dallas is a tall order.

So it's two in Dallas? I thought it was 1 in Dallas, then another in Miami, then the 7th game(if necessary) is in Dallas.

Nah. They go 2-3-2 for the Finals. It's wacky. I prefer the other setup.

Game 5 in Miami, then 6 and 7 in Dallas.

I like 2-3-2. It's different. :p

It forces the team with the home court advantage to have to test itself with three straight road games. Meanwhile the other team gets three straight home games (which is always good), but if the series goes to 6 or 7, they have to play them on the road.

EDIT: Wow. That was really stating the obvious. :D

Wow I cant believe this is the same mavs team I saw in the first two games? So many open shots they missed??? Damn Im sooo pissed off right now!!! My friend asked me the other day if he wanted to bet 100 bucks that the mavs will win game 4 and I said no because I honestly thought the heat were done even though they won game 3:O STUPID ME!

Shaq on Stackhouse's flagrant foul: "My daughters tackle me harder when I get home."

:)

Hopefully that Shaq quote can fire up the Mavs and just come out swinging in Game 5.

Seems like Shaq is going back to his classless ways. Now I'm pissed and I hope the Mavs wake up in time for Sunday. Avery needs to personally *****slap all of them and make them play like they're capable of.

Why classless? That's Shaq being Shaq.

How is it classless? He could have reacted violently and tried to take Stackhouse's head off. He could be campaigning for him to be suspended and screaming bloody murder.
He makes a joke, brushes it off and that's classless? OK.

Did anybody here Shaq's quote about how he was Jor-El's other son or something?? :D :D

It was classless, he could've said nothing and went on. But to imply that Stackhouse is a wimp? You know that's what he was implying, quit playing dumb and just call it for what it is.

Now Dallas better use that and just beat the living **** out of Miami.

Going off of whats happened in these playoffs Stackhouse should be suspended for that flagrant foul.

The league has already helped Miami enough; they don't need anymore help at this time.
