Good Lord, Pronger did it again? :down

He should've gotten another game after bashing the refs and the league while he was suspended for Game 4.

You could argue the Sens need him, the way he played in this game allowed them to win. Brian Burke try to defend this. Pronger's buddy Don Cherry tried too. NBC still has the best play-by-play coverage. Did switch to HNIC since they have Satellite Hotstove (which never seems to run out of things to talk about) and what old man Cherry had to say, Brett Hull was a guest and gave a jab to St.Louis on why they've never won a Cup.

I laughed when Hull made those comments... :woot: :woot: :woot:

:yay:

I meant the Wings/Ducks series, slinger. He should've gotten another game for bashing the NHL and the refs repeatedly.

But good, he's gone for Game 4.

Ducks win Game 4. I finaly got to watch some of the game cause it was on NBC.

Lot of good it did them.

Sens had an amazing 1st and only managed one goal with 0.3 seconds left and once again reverted back to Game 2 period 2. They were lucky to end it 2-2 but I don't know what the hell happened with Alfie. Maybe he just wanted to shot the puck near Scotty, how could he not get a penalty for the scrum after?

Oilers were down 3-1 last year and it was another 1 goal win for the Ducks. Still not over. But if the Sens win Wednesday they better win the next two, I don't want this dragged out if they're going to lose.

I'm pretty sure it's done... Ducks just look too determined.

And they do damn good without Pronger, and I'm sure this win will just boost their already-high confidence.

And I'm pretty sure Alfredsson should get suspended. Deliberately taking a shot at Niedermayer that could have seriously injured him.

Not the actions of a true captain. It's the action of a team that is desperate. And done.

You can't prove that he deliberately meant to shot the puck at Niedermayer, he could've just wanted to shoot the puck right by him to send a message. Not trying to defend his actions but just saying the NHL only punishes those who injure and it could've been an accident. The Ducks didn't let that bother them, just put it behind them and concentrated on winning the game. They can get him back when they meet in the regular season.

What did you think of Don Cherry on NBC?

From what I saw, dude, he could have easily avoided Niedermayer.

I didn't watch tonight. I should have, though. Probably will Wednesday night, just to see someone possibly carry the Cup. Haven't watched the actual ceremony in 5 years.

I've always watched since '94 even if its a team I do not want to win, CBC always does a great wrap up while NBC will probably wrap it up early. Its the end of the season, I just get a sense of closure and after investing all that time throughout the past year watching games, reading articles, etc. why not? Then it shifts into the NHL awards next week then the NHL draft, free agency, August is such a slow month and things pick up in September and its back at it for the 90th anniversary of the NHL.

Not looking good for the Senator's, sorry 'slinger'. 4-2 going into last period. :cmad: :csad:

Stick a fork in'em, Mighty (Freaking) Ducks will hoist Lord Stanley's Cup. :cmad:

Sens were done when Alfredsson took the shot at Niedermayer.

Yeah, but I was holding out hope. I was channeling GR.

Goddamnit. :down

A new champion is crowned. A champion that sucks ass.

I think the ONE thing that got them there was Teemu Selanne's goal in OT against the Wings. Completely turned that series around.

Welcome to SO CAL.. Sir Stanley:woot: :word:

I know you will like it here... the women the weather the entertainment and the WOMEN!

Congrats Ducks.. way to bring the cup home.. wish it was the Kings... but hey it's close enough:woot:

It's going to be a short visit, trust me.

Hey guys, I'm a champion! Let's put the Cup in-between my teeth!

Hockeytown will be always and forever Detroit.

And we're hoisting the Cup next year. I think we will do it.
