Yes, "Single Ladies" came out after August 2008 so it wasn't eligable for the 2009 Grammy nominations.

The Grammy's just have horrible rules. They can't nominate Lady Gaga for Best New Artist (which she would for sure win) but they can nominate The Ting Tings? Doesn't really make any sense.....

"Just Dance" was nominated for Best Dance Song, or something like that at last years Grammys.
