He has to have possession of the ball when he breaks the plain. He didn't have it. He was fumbling before he crossed the line.

Dude, he's running the ball, he retain possession, with two hands, in mid air when his leg hit the pylon....that's a TD. If it was a pass....incomplete. He's running the ball, and the ball did not change possession...in other words, the defense never touched the ball.

How did he retain possession when he didn't enter the end zone with possession?
 
Are you suggesting a ball has to change possession to count as a fumble? Then how does any player fumble out of the endzone? :woot:
They loss the ball, RG didn't lose the ball, he still had it in his possession.
