2018 Emmy Nominations

I'm happy Jeffrey Wrihht was nominated. Well deserved.

Happy for most of the nominee's, Im just glad Modern Family, Kit Harrington and Emilia Clark all got snubbed.

For me all that matters is The Americans finally winning something.

Glad to see Legion got a nomination for Cinematography. It's not a nod for Aubrey Plaza, Dan Stevens, or Rachel Keller, but I'll take it.

I didn't even think Orphan Black was still in the cards, given what's come out since then, but hey, good for Tatiana Maslany. Happy Bill Hader got nominated. He truly gave a transformative performance in Barry. And for my money, Darren Criss had the best acting performance of any actor I've seen on television this year, so hopefully he wins.

Yey for my fav actor ever Ed Harris but:

- No Peter Mullan for Westworld
- Nominating Nikolaj only NOW
- barey any Twin Peaks noms

= madness

Honestly for me The Handmaid's Tale is starting to get old and kind of repetitive pretty quickly.

Shutting out Twin Peaks is a goddamn joke.

I'm glad the Emmys' infatuation with Modern Family is over. That show hasn't deserved to be nominated for anything in six years. As for Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, while I like them on GOT and each of their acting skills have improved over the course of the series, neither of them deserved to be nominated in the first place.

- Nominating Nikolaj only NOW

I'm just happy he finally got nominated, even though it should have been for his bathtub monologue in season three.

Oh yes. Still his finest scene on the show

Congrats on the Atlanta trio on scoring acting noms. Pleasantly surprised by the Black Mirror acting noms as well.

Preach.

Yaaas Alison janney and Sandra oh. Everyone on my feed is going mental for Sandra. She really is someone who has worked hard and it’s only just now paying off.

I wonder which comic book role she would be perfect for?

Great to see The Crown made it. I will cheer for Foy, Smith and Kirby.

Because every actor under the sun just has to play a comic book role...

Yes, if they’re good actors. You are on a comic book forum

Doesn't mean I necessarily agree with this notion that a good actor needs a comic book role on their resume. The entertainment world is much bigger than these adaptations and there are of plenty of roles beyond and in addition to them.

I'll never understand why the Emmy voters have no love for David Simon and his shows. Super sad seeing The Deuce getting nothing, especially for the fantastic Maggie Gylennhaal. She deserved a nom.

And in them. There’s nothing wrong with being in a comic book film. It’s not like if they’re in one they won’t be able to do other films forever

Once again Freddie Highmore gets ignored I thought the stuff he did in Bates Motel and Good Doctor would give him something.

Ugh IMO if any of the kids from Stranger Things should've got nominated it was Noah Schnapp he stole the show in Season 2 imo.
