This is a special, prestigious award. These Hype forums have been around for 20+ years now. For an internet forum to survive as long as it has, in the days of instant social media and such, is simply not possible without all the amazing posters who has graced these hallowed halls. The Award is to honor an Oldie who has been a pillar of the Hype and has played a role in making it what is it today. These members hold a special place in Hype Lore.
In order to be eligible for this award, your account needs to be at least 10 years old. Also, a past winner cannot win a second time.
There will be at least 2 winners of this award; chosen by the Hype, and one chosen by former winners of this award.
I looked through the list and the only people that popped into my mind was you ( @BoredGuy ) and @DKDetective . Most of the people I would've nominated were already on the list.
I'm sure there's others if I looked at when they joined.
On the old version of the site the members list covered every poster on the Hype rather than just those with the most of something. That made it much easier to sort (by join dates or number of posts for eg) to find people.

I use to go to that all the time to see who to pick for this award. It was also nice to see where you were in post count to see who you would pass in posts if they didn't post here anymore. It felt like a milestone.
