It's weird though - in the blog about the comic-con footage, the S on the space suit REALLY looked like the traditional S - NOT Reeve's, but the trademarked S, with the "dot" at the bottom of the S and everything. And it looked way bigger than the one on the normal suit.

I don't know... must just have been the effect of being scaled down so much - it was pretty low-res footage.

I am aware of that, the movie I mentioned is not funn or mainstream. That's my point, is that he does other things and those should judge him only on seeing him in a serious role as well.

No problem, theres a lot out there that I forget as well. I agree with you though, just because they start off in comedy doesn't mean they don't have the skill to be more than that. I think Robin Williams went to Julliard, so I know he has to have some more things under his belt, it just so happens comedy might be where he's comfortable. We can't be too quick to judge here, we havent really had any insight to Kal Penn's character.

People should stop thinking Kal Penn is going to be another funny guy in this movie. Just because he's funny don't mean he will be in every movies. Many are forgetting comedians can do a serious role if they want to. In fact, comedians tend to be great serious performance more than people think. Some even think comedians are better actors than many actors who aren't comedians.
