42 - Jackie Robinson

I think he gave more of an effort in Cowboys and Aliens than anyone else involved. Indy 4, as well. It's amazing that he could keep in shape approaching 70, enough to play the role, and the most powerful filmmakers in Hollywood couldn't come up with a script strong enough to support him. It's a shame.

He's playing a bad guy in his next movie "Paranoia", opposite Gary Oldman as the good guy. It's like "Air Force One" reversed! That, possibly playing Han Solo again, "Anchorman 2", an older Wyatt Earp in "Black Hats".

"42" though is probably the biggest risk on-screen he's taken since "Mosquito Coast". It's a really exciting time to be a fan...

Man this movie was great! I had high hopes ever since I found out about it and it exceeded all of them. I teared up a little at the end, it was really inspiring/touching for me. I can't wait to see this again and own it on blu ray. Easily a 5/5 for me and in my top 5 baseball films of all time.

If you're on the fence about this, see it. You won't be disappointed.

Its one of the best sports movies ever...Harrison ford hands down will get a Oscar nomination. Wow what a movie. Everyone clapped throughout

What a great film this was. I'd put it in the upper echelon of baseball films, and it was a great biopic to boot. It was a breakthrough role for Chadwick Boseman and I hope he's here to stay. As for Harrison Ford, this was his best performance since The Fugitive. He was fantastic in this.

Saw it today. An okay movie with good performances by the actors.
