I already voted but I just want to say The Simpsons has more great episodes than Spectacular Spider-Man has episodes.

I already voted but I just want to say The Simpsons has more great episodes than Spectacular Spider-Man has episodes.

Truth.

I honestly think that if TSSM had gone for it's original planned length of 5-seasons per Weisman, heck, even for at least one more season, the show would have a more solidified mark within the animated community. As it stands, it does pretty well with what it has but when it comes to longer running shows and ones that reached 'completion' it makes it difficult for TSSM to hold on the same level. I'm surprised it made it this far into the tournament and then a show like Avatar:TLA went out in the first round, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh well. Up next another cancelled-too-soon of a show against the Simpsons, Avengers.

As much as I love The Last Airbender, it did have the occasional stinker here and there, like "The Great Divide", "Bato of the Water Tribe", or "The Painted Lady". Spectacular, as it is, had a far more consistent quality. Maybe that would've changed if it got the full five seasons, but from what we got, it was consistently good.

Yes, I would agree that TSSM had a much better consistency and that's a good point to make but Avatar at least reached a satisfying conclusion. IMO, the show makes a stronger impression with the resolution. I'm just making the argument that TSSM probably would be higher on the 'list' if there was a more 'completeness' to the show.
