Aliens is in the same untouchable classic bracket as Alien.
To each his own... I consider Aliens in the same catagory as Terminator 2, inferior to the original but damn entertaining it's own right. Both Terminator 1 and Alien are genius in it's execution and suspense, while there sequals garner bigger budgets allowing them to produce amazing action and visuals, it simply doesn't rank as high up in terms of quality or film as the originals manage to achieve. However I'll concede I haven't seen ALiens in 2 years or so, I have it on my DVD shelf so I can pop it in and watch it, if you'd like me to give it another gander...
I think of Lethal Weapon as more of a thriller than an action movie. The action is secondary to the character interaction between the leads, and the drama.
Isn't that how IT SHOULD be?
Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2 are both kick-ass action thrillers. Sadly the third and fourth films were sub-par at best.
I just passed 20,000 and I didn't even realise.....
And it only took you 7 years. Some people around here get 20,000 after only a month.![]()
