The poster is hilarious and so is the preview but Im not sure if it is actually a joke or not. Either way its got me laughing

The folks on IMDB seem to be just as confused but that isnt really saying much

I watched. As one who grew up as a momma's boy, I watched a lot of Lifetime movies. This movie nailed it. It walked the line perfectly, and ended up being rather entertaining because of it. For most who watch these films, it probably plays as a typical one. Not a parody.

It is definitely a parody. There is some clear signs. But if you told the typical Lifetime movie viewer it was just a normal film on the channel, they'd totally buy it imo. It is that spot on. Kind of like how many didn't realize Spinal Tap was a mockcumenty.

I totally want to hear your thoughts on it. My brother hates these kind of movies with a passion, because of our mother. But he got a huge kick out of it.

I've been watching Lifetime movies for as long as I can remember, thanks to my mom and grandmom being obsessed with them. So I can say with full confidence that they nailed it.

This was spot on. I was shocked at just how Lifetime-ish it was.
