i've always thought a "real life" Aladdin would be great, i've never seen one, but there are already various versions of snow white, sleeping beauty, & alice in wonderland (though a burton version would be fun). mulan would work really well & i'd like to see how exactly they'd go about making the little mermaid, but my top pick would probably be aladdin, how fun would that be with more action, special effects, arabian music, & richly decorated sets & neat desert surroundings? i think it would be very interesting to do it at this time with all the turmoil in the middle east and the fact that there has never really been an arab movie coming out of hollywood, especially one that featured them in a favorable light. i'd really love that, but i'd want them to use a cast of primarily actors of arab descent, there are good ones out there, but usually all the roles they get are terrorist ones, which is really too bad.
