Watched it last night and basically thought it was excellent. Great direction and first class acting from Viggo .
Probably the best movie ive seen this year (probably last year too!) , anyone else share my opinion?

yep! , not many tho , off the top of my head ive seen Scanners (very good) , The Fly (Very good) and Existenz (didnt like it......) .
HOV is fantastic though....

Cronenberg is great
The Fly, Scanners, Dead Ringers, The Dead Zone, and now A history of violence.
All freaking great, IMO.
I still need to see a lot of his work though

This movie is cool. But Viggo's best movie is LOTR.

Kind of funny considering your name. But really, that cheerleader thing was awesome. Everything about that movie was awesome, it was so damn brutal I felt like looking away during some of the scenes.

For some reason, I just didn't dig this movie. It's not bad nor was it an Oscar contender. That's the thing that boggled my mind.

BTW, the wife is hot. You get to see her nice arse in The Cooler, for anybody who cares!

i think what made it even better for me was that fact i did'nt know if he was going to turn out to be joey. I had'nt read anything or seen anything regarding the movie before i watched it so as far as i knew , Ed Harris was some psycho who got his faces mixed up.
Great film.

This film is terrble, and to be honest, I'm having a hard time believing so many people could find any enjoyment in it whatsoever. It was just plain boring, and pretty damn rediculous. Half the movie consisted of people walking from one place to another not saying anything. It didn't help that the movie was short as hell too.

Also, this movie marks the second time i've ever laughed during a sex scene (the first being Bloodrayne). Seriously, it was ridiculous.
