I'm actually sad that games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band get such acclaim. I played both of those and honestly...that **** is not fun, nor is it interesting. It's just a reflex thing based on random songs from the past and present...just a gimmick to me.

All these guitar based games are lame, when the craze goes away you'll be left with the ability to play... a plastic 'My First Guitar', when if youd put that ammount of time into the real thing you could have learned a life long skill. What a waste of time...the full band equipment is even dumber.

Look, I was just like you. I thought Guitar Hero was the dumbest thing ever, until I actually played it and had some fun. It's not my favorite game ever but yeah, I have fun playing against friends and such.

Agreed, it's just a videogame. No, you won't learn how to play guitar from it, but after playing COD4, do you think you'll be able to kill terriorists with rocket launchers?
