Guitar Hero III - For 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 this winter.

Hey, how did you get the crosses in your username?

Seeing you in this thread makes me want to tell you the Manson song in this game sucks balls, and you and him should both be ashamed of yourselves for it :cmad:

Seriously though, why did they pick a remix of a song with hardly any guitar in it? Why not something of of Antichirst Superstar or Mechanical Animals?

it's a remix of Putting Holes In Happines, I think.

Thats the one...yeah they couldve put one with ''more guitar'' but the song is cool...I think they shouldve put in ''get you gunn'' or ''lunchbox''..Their great songs by him..

I would have preffered something from Mechanical Animals, that album has really great and under-rated guitar work.

The other day, I was thinking about how Activision says that the GH series will have semi-annual installments, so that got me wondering about what ways they can go about ****ing out the brand...

First, they might start off with something that they can claim is just an "innocent" attempt at expanding Guitar Hero's userbase, by expanding it into a suckier genre of music.

Guitar Hero: Country

Then, when that's said and done, they can try "expanding the userbase" further, by entering a non-guitar form of lesser music:

Hip Hop Hero

And then, when they really want to squeeze every last penny they can get out of the Guitar Hero franchise, they can take it to it's final plateau of suckage:

Guitar Hero: Disney Channel Edition (w/ limited edition pink guitar!)

:(

I want to play GH3 more than ever right now :( I want Rock Band too, play the drums. I gotta get these games.

Depending on what songs were in it, the country version might be passable. But a Country track pack with a bunch of Johnny Cash on Rock Band would own the hell out of it.

Johhny Cash was the man. A "Cash Pack" for RB could actually be pretty cool, even though he's not rock.

He covered NIN, and even though he did country, he had a rock and roll spirit :o

I will boycott Guitar Hero if I see a Disney edition.

I hope the rumors are true, that Activision will release 1 or 2 GH sequels this year. Having Wii version of GH means that you have to play the same songs over and over without DLC, and I just want new songs to play with.

If you go to the PSN right now, you can dl Dream On by Aerosmith for free. It will be up until Monday at midnight. I'm not sure if it is on Live though. Maybe someone can confirm?

so the game is going to chronicle the band's journey?

will coke and every other drug on the planet be seen?

Aeorosmith already had a game: Revolution X

You'd think publishers would learn...

This is a bad idea. There are very very few bands who have stuff that differes enough to sustain a whole game without it getting boring. And Aerosmith is not one of them.
