Does anyone know yet exactly how detailed their earth mode disguises are? This is probably something that will be dealt with quickly in the movie, but I was just wondering is the disguise only the outer panels of their vehicle modes or does it extend to engines, components, etc.

For example, line up Bumblebee (in car mode) alongside a real Camaro and will they have exactly the same engine under the hood?

I know they're giant robots and we have to suspend disbelief ............. but seeing as they're going for the 'realistic' approach, I'm just wondering how far they are taking it :D

i'd imagine that they do. bumblebee gets sold to Sam by a used car dealer and i'd like to think that most car dealers check to make sure everything's functioning properly before they sell their cars so someone must've had to pop open bb's hood.

i can't tell you for SURE though...i'm just speculating.

My guess would be yes, at one point in the movie Megan Fox's character takes a look at BB engine.

I don't think so. I know that at one point, the girl looks under Bumblebee's hood and sees a super-complicated engine.

Isn't that what most girls see under a hood anyway?

Wish she'd check under my hood:

It would be funny if they pop the hood and see a robot head instead of an engine.
