Very Cool.

You're right on about Matt, Maury and Candice. They all have various forms of telepathy or mental manipulations - some people include telekinesis in this as well. So, in theory - yes they could all develop the same powers if they concentrated and worked at it. We've always said we're just seeing the beginning of these abilities - all of them can grow and change and get more and more powerful.

That opens up a lot of possibilities!

Thats what ive been saying that candice is dead she still has Sylar under an illusion, because if you remeber that one scene when Sylar was in the cafe with the american prisoner and killed him you saw that roach again, the same one from Chapter 1 season end going into the sewer.

Matt is still one of my favorite characters

I always thought those illusionary type powers were connected in some way.

Types of abilities - classification

Psychokinesis is the umbrella term under which are various related specialized abilities. These specialities include:

* Movement of matter (telekinesis; see below).

* Object deformation (including metal softening and bending).

* Influencing events.

* Biological healing.

* Teleportation (disappearing and reappearing elsewhere).[61][62][63]

* Phasing through matter.

* Transmutation of matter.

* Shape-shifting.

* Energy shield (force field).

* Control of magnetism.

* Control of photons (light waves/particles).

* Thoughtform projection (a physically perceived person, animal, creature, object, ghostly entity, etc., created in the mind and projected into three-dimensional space and observable by others; for thought images allegedly placed on film, see Thoughtography).

Judging by that I would say that EVERY hero has the capability to develop everyone else's power. Every power has to do with the brain. I think the ultimate evolutionary path is that they all become like Peter Petrelli.

It's all about the brain. All their abilities fall under the umbrella of Psychokinesis. :woot:

maybe that has something to do w/ why sylar could do other people's abilities. it's a stretch, however, imo.

Doubtful. Remember that the guy also stole Claire's car. I agree that Candace is alive though. I think that Candace is alive still, though, and she created an illusion of her death, which is why he didn't get her power. He thinks he can't acquire powers, but he really can.

Candace is dead. The actress left the show, they wrote out the character.

Besides, they need to kill off some characters, and Candace isn't one that'll be missed terribly.

The actress got replaced once, who's to say it won't happen again?

I was a bit surprised that they replaced Missy. But it's only because she was cast in "Reaper."
