I just feel it takes away from the awkwardness of Jaime and Cersie if Jon and Dany hook up. Clearly incest is looked down upon even in that society and now that Cersie is openly flaunting her relationship with Jaime, they should seem more at odds with everyone else. I get they are attracted now, because neither of them know. Once Jon knows he has too much of Ned and his honor in him to do something like that.

I did have the thought about how they might end all of this. Like perhaps Jon dies fighting the White Walkers, but Dany vows to rule better to honor him (and we find out that she's pregnant with his child).

I think back on her vision in season 2 and I think Dany will sacrifice herself. Now in that vision she didn't stay with Khal Drogo and their son so she could be revived but I think she'll die by sacrifice. I actually want her to recall that vision or if she meets Bran hopefully he will bring it up.

I think the baby is going to be important to ending the conflict. because of the vision and the way Craster kept sending his male children to them. I don't know what pact was made to keep the peace the first time but something in the fine print of the contract voided it and now a new pact must be forged. And it may have something to do with the "prince who was promised" prophecy. Perhaps it has to do with their lineage. but I feel it's going to be key and would truly be bittersweet.

It is a bit odd. I think had they had more episodes they might have brought it up.

My thought as well (Daario dumped for a potential political marriage in Westeros -with Jon, of course), but I seriously doubt such a union will last very long. We're down to nine episodes left now and the match hasn't even been lit yet, so when it is, you can probably count their scenes left together on one hand.

And a happy marriage beyond the end of the show doesn't match the "bittersweet" ending GRRM promised for the series. Jon already died once, so I think it's Dany's turn next.

I like the scene right before Jon Snow shows her the cave..While her and Missandei are talking and Jon interrupts. Dany and Missandei glance at each other and smile as if they'd been gossipping about him or something.
