It was an ok episode. I hated the grand parents, which i guess i was supposed to.

loved that episode George getting pulled over was hilarious i nearly died laughing. Then all of them near the end using their powers in some way was a nice touch at the end.

I was hoping the Sylar guy would come by and kill the grandparents. It was an ok episode but i wanna know more about the others with powers.

I wonder what game the watcher dude is playing at. He knew exactly who Jim was in that picture, but chose not to reveal that fact to his boss. And the dating the assistant thing plus the killing of the mob guy. It's almost like he's acting as the Powell's protector.

It's possible he has ulterior motives involving the Powell's and their friends, but I think it's more likely that he wants to hide those that are "special".

What is the watchers motive with Jim? He knows about him but lied directly in the face of the boss. Then makes a move on Katie by pretending to be somebody he's not. Who the kids know to be a fictional person.That shapes up for some very interesting story lines in the near future. I'm excited to see what may develop from it.

He's not really stupid just a teenager and the show is trying to illustrate that no matter how smart a kid is he can still dumb *****. Like cheating in football,school,and lying to your parents among the other dumb teenage stuff he's done so far. As far as the character of Katie really smart,successful, nerdy woman, with a few quirks I imagine do have problems finding men that are on their level intellectually and financially just a guess seeing as though there are so many dating sites.

I think he's been keeping tabs on Jim after finding him in the garage unconscious next to the sonic boom lady. As for why he's protecting Jim from his boss ... Idk. Maybe it's the first time he has come across a special who uses his powers for the greater good.

Unfortunately...i don't think this series will get a second season. I think it's pretty good for what it is, but the ratings is pretty bad.

I guess the thing that bothers me about the show is the decisions the characters make in regards to their powers...their choices don't seem real. They are either too stupid to be believable or don't really make sense.

Because it was an allergic reaction by Jim's body. Not everyone is allergic to the same things. Where they blundered is with showing whatever that chemical compound was, directly affecting the plant that they suspect gave them their powers. It contravents the allergy angle. Though it's possible that Jim is naturally allergic to the chemical anyhow, allowing the chemical to directly affect the altered genes in his body. Not to mention Stephanie's accelerated healing.

What I want to know is, why the watcher needs constant "treatment," while the Powells seem to be doing relatively okay. Also, does Jim also have some kind of healing factor as well? The bullet wound on his neck is gone, and the cut on his hand went away, once his powers came back.

That is a good question about the injections but it probably a problem the Powell's will face later.

Or it could be because of the way the Powells were exposed as opposed to Dr.Kings people. They couldve started off with injections thus it never really taking over their body like it did with the Powells who were directly in the source.
