Well this is quite something. The “Adam Sandler plays a brother and sister” movie Jack and Jill has just made cinematic history: the “comedy” swept literally every single category of the Razzie Awards, which honor the worst in cinematic achievement. Sandler took home Worst Actor and Worst Actress, Al Pacino nabbed Worst Supporting Actor, and the film itself was honored with a triple Worst Couple for Sandler and Katie Holmes, Sandler and Pacino, and Sandler and Sandler. All in all, it was a pretty great/terrible night for Adam Sandler.

Hit the jump to see the full list of nominees that Jack and Jill bested in each category. I keep hoping in vain that the actor will try his hand at drama again, but Grown Ups 2 is on the horizon and this unfunny streak appears to have no end in sight. As such, I’m assuming this isn’t the last time we see Sandler’s name on a Razzie list.

Good. It was the most disgraceful example of money grabbing, hack work ever.

Someone needs to tell Al Pacino to stay away from Adam Sandler

Way to go Sandler! All of us Manchester Central Alumni are so proud!

Well earned. That "movie" was a total disgrace.

I still laugh when I think about how they included Adam Sandler in the Oscar videos about storytelling.

Have to say when I first heard about the movie, I thought it was a joke. Then a parody of Sandler's bad movies.

I'm still disgusted that my friend thought the movie looked funny from the previews.

Adam Sandler has finally made his mark on the world. I hope it was worth it.

It makes me proud that of the 100 or so movies I watched last year, Jack and Jill wasn't one of them :)

Pacino pre-2000: Godfather I and II, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface, Carlito's Way, Scent of a Woman, Heat

Pacino post 2000: Gigli, Ocean's 13, 88 Minutes, Jack and Jill

Conclusion: Pacino was killed and replaced by a skrull around 2000.

I'd say 1993. He overracted so much in Heat and Any Given Sunday.

Just when you think Adam Sandler couldn't do worse with comedies, he does.

And I used to enjoy watching his movies. Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, etc. I love watching those movies. Too bad none of the movies he's been in lately have been worth.

Sandler has made a few entertaining movies, but I'm not sure I'd call them "good." The only really good film he's made is Punch Drunk Love. Maybe Reign Over Me too.

I used to love Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison in the 90s. But I rewatched them both recently. Have to be honest, they didn't hold up well. The chick in Billy Madison was gorgeous though. Who was that?

I'd say the Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates were really good too.

The other movies I loved because they played around a lot more with the self awareness, especially Billy Madison. You knew you were watching a bad movie, and the movie was aware of that too and the world was so stupid it was funny.

But today's Sandler's movies lack the imagination of the others. It's not as stupid, the women aren't as down to earth (and doesn't have as much personality), and there's a growing lack of self-awareness and ridiculousness that Sandler's older moves had.

Bridget Wilson Sampras. Married to tennis legend Pete Sampras. Don't know if she acts anymore.

She was hot, though there a homeliness (or I don't know, I can't really) to her that I like about her in the movie.

I also like that the woman in Happy Gilmore is that woman from Modern Family.

That skrull must've been doing a test run in the 80's...

Sad part is this is as close as he's ever going to get to an oscar. :/

I thought Pacino was fantastic in Insomnia.

I like Adam Sandler's older films, but all of them are pretty much ****. Funny no doubt, but **** none the less. I really don't think this will stop him from continuing this trend. On another note, anyone else find Click to be one of the most depressing films ever? That bit at the end was like a sucker punch.

Adam Sandler IMO has really gone down hill and so has his movie and That's My Boy really doesn't look any better.

Wasn't Click just a retelling of 'It's a Wonderful Life'?
My favorite Adam Sandler film is 50 First Dates. I'm glad it didn't have a cop out ending.

Click was... okay. At least it tried to stir some emotion in the viewer. And Winkler was good in it. The movie wasn't great, but it was watchable.

Jack & Jill has no redeeming qualities. It just looks like Sandler has fallen down the same rabbit-hole Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy did of dressing up as fat women and thinking that's somehow funny.

Anger Management (2003) was funny as hell. Most of the funny moments came from Nicholson, though.
