One of the nuances of the MCU that Black Panther reinforced was the fact that vibranium is the strongest metal in the universe. I wonder now that Disney bought Fox, will adamantium be brought into the mix as the strongest metal instead? Or will the two be blended together and vibranium speak for both?

have a feeling that the universe will be severely altered post avengers 4

thanos will have done some wonky reality altering stuff that makes fox characters part of its history, thus making adamantium a thing.

Vibranium is a naturally occurring element. Adamantium is an alloy that possibly isn't invented yet or the secret is known only to a few. Seems simple enough to me to deal with.

It does create a big plothole, when its been yapped about for years in comics.. i think this site does a great job explaining the differences..

It hasn't even been introduced yet so how can it be a plot hole?

Kahran Ramsus suggested a fairly simple example of how easy it could be to introduce it without contradicting established continuity.

It's not a plothole since Adamantium doesn't exist yet in the MCU due to the Fox and Disney Marvel universes being separate.

I'll be interested to see how they incorporate some of their newly acquired properties into the MCU, particularly the likes of the X-Men, the MCU is too far along for some of these characters & things to just come out of the cracks & exist.

On that note: I still really like that idea of the Fantastic Four being lost in space for years and they come back to Earth in their MCU debut. Kinda Star Lord-ish but I still like it

Yep that sounds fine, there are some characters & things that will be easier included than others, Fantastic Four being one. The X-Men & mutants in general are another story.

Everything i've read on Vibranium is that it came down in an asteroid.. So not really 'natural' to earth..

And another thing. If its supposed to be so 'strong', how then could they make a suit out of it??

Elements aren't created naturally on Earth. They are created in stars or in the case of heavy elements (like Vibranium would be) in supernovas. When it is said to be "naturally occurring" it means naturally occurring in the Universe (ie. not man-made). Large metal deposits coming from asteroid impacts is perfectly normal.

Just because something is strong doesn't mean it isn't malleable. Different elements have different properties. It would probably be too heavy to wear though unless you're the Hulk.

Adamantium can just be a man made thing. Like, maybe they take Vibranium and make it Admantium by doing super science. Done

Yes. In both the comics and the Fox films, Adamantium is a man-made metal alloy.

This would be a pretty good explanation!

Bringing Adamantium into the MCU should be fairly straight forward, the outside world had limited amounts of Vibranium & in the process of experimenting with it they accidentally created Adamantium.. a substance that they've small quantities off & is very difficult to manipulate.

Something though I'd like to see cleared up when they create Adamantium or bring it into the MCU, I'd like them to detail the capabilities of Vibranium as well while they're introducing it perhaps explaining the differences between the 2.

Watching the likes of AoU & BP with Vibranium helping create Vision in addition to many of the things developed on Wakanda using the material, it seems as if the metal is capable of doing everything.
