I heard there is dvd cuts and I saw the difference and its the bathroom fight and the stairwell fight and its less violent and adults have to be blamed for this because they say there children will become violent but its not true because they can become violent anytime. It all depends how there brain is developed because it can snap anytime. Adults dont seem to get it.

There are no cuts from the US theatrical release to the US DVD release. All the cuts that were on the DVD were in the theatrical cut. Namely, the edits to the sink drowning and the stairwell chase - these were edits that were done to get the PG-13 rating; the US cut had edits in those scenes and left the torture sequence alone, the UK cut left the PTS and stairwell untouched but edited the torture sequence.

You must be confused. You may have seen some of the uncut versions of these scenes on YouTube, or in other official clips (the official stairwell fight clip is unedited, and you can see the brief moments that were removed).

I haven't bought the DVD yet, but I hope, even if there are differences between what I saw in the cinema and what's on the DVD, that they're only small, subtle differences and that I won't notice any obvious cutting.
