Looks pretty kewl. Samuel L. Jackson is supposed to be starring in a movie version of it eventually, as well as lending his vocal talents to an Anime version that's coming to Spike TV. I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

I don't think there is much news, the project was only anounced a couple of months ago.

It's an animated feature, Jackson is doing the voice-work for the main character. He's also co-producing, so there's no "they" to speak of, only "him." The film is also an adaptation of of a pre-existing graphic novel.

Considered it's based on a manga published by GONZO, it should.

Oh, looks like what's scheduled is an animated mini-series for television, and a live action version. So discussion about the movie should stay here.
