Colin Farrell Starring in 'After Yang' for A24 - Variety

“After Yang” centers on a father and daughter as they try to save the life of their robotic family member Yang in a world where robotic children are purchased as live-in-babysitters. In the story, Yang has been programmed to help his little sister learn about her cultural heritage.

I highly recommend Kogonada's Columbus if you guys haven't seen it.

Columbus is really wonderful. Need to go visit that town (Columbus, IN).

I am very curious how Kogonada adapted the short story for this new one. When I read it, had a hard time picturing it becoming a full length feature.
