"Kids" were not an important age target in the 1930s. It was just after the rise of the teenager in modern culture (Jazz clubs, teenager fashions, etc) so I would expect Superhero comics were aimed at that age range when first started (but I could be wrong). Now-a-days comics are aimed at an age range going from about eight years old to about thirty years old - from "Marvel Adventures" to "The Boys" to "Invisibles" all aimed at different age ranges. Most the comic buying community is late teens to about thirty though.
And you are childish because you wrote becoz. :P
