Human Target

I hate everything has to be moved just for THAT show.

so when is the show airing now? or has it been dumped on a break?

It's coming on next Monday night, and that's too long of a wait for me. The show is probably in its best run of episodes this season and American Idol kills the momentum. Stupid Fox. :cmad:

Oh

I wish they ban that show
Don't worry, part of this show's appeal has left the building being Simon...it's on deathwatch as far as I'm concerned.

On the other hand, it's been dying a slow death for awhile now yet Fox continues to shove more seasons down our throats. :csad:

They're just juggling HT around on different nights and times like a hot potato. :cmad:

Well Human Target came back Monday with Kill Bob. Not one of the better episodes this season but it was alright.

The B-plot with Ames getting married did NOT work at all. At first I figured she was marrying a friend to help him get a greencard or something. But apparently that wasn't the case at all. The storyline just made no sense.

The best thing about the episode was Winston's one-liners about marriage. The rest of the story was kind of hokey.

Anyway the show is moving AGAIN back to Wednesday. The only good news is that the ratings bumped up this week on Monday which was sort of surprising. But I'm not sure its enough to save the series.

The Ames thing was a bit random....

Have to say i thought some of the play between Chance and the wife was comical...

****. I completely forgot about it. :cmad:

Of course, the pain and pain killers may have had something to do with that. :p

This is a good way for a bubble show to finish the season. Fox's Human Target popped up on Monday last night and drew a 2.1/6 in 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers at 8 PM, up 75% in the demo from its last telecast in the Friday 8 PM slot and up 24% from its last airing in its former regular Wednesday 8 PM berth. Fox had several extra original episodes of the comic book adaptation series left, so it put 2 on Fridays and then subbed a House repeat with another one last night. That last stint proved surprisingly successful, lifting Human Target to season highs in 18-49 and total viewers. And those highs may soon be surpassed as the show's last 2 episodes of the season are set to air behind American Idol on Wednesdays.

behind Idol? Could be interesting to see how that fares...

Idol lead in is a great spot

I hate Idol, but I cannot deny its power

If it means more Human Target, I am all for it.

I don't want to get my hopes up and say this could've saved the show, but fingers crossed.

I have no expectations at the end of this season but I hope they get a strong season.

I think its clear that people like this show and the audience is out there, Fox just does a **** job of promoting it and scheduling it.

It's doing better ratings than Dollhouse and Good guys. I was so right about Monday being the best night for this show. It even beat out Chuck that night I think. If it get picked up for another season I think they should leave it Monday night.

But then they have to move House...

Well, this may be House's last season on Fox. The contract for Fox to broadcast ends then, and NBC will be able to air season 8 if they want.

They could also move HT behind House in place of Lie to Me, since that is also on the cancellation block.

I think the show sould've been on Monday from the beginning. Basically give this show the 24 spot and let it fill the void that 24 left.

Of course programmers are not as smart as us :) .

I mean half-joking but seriously it should've been on Monday.

How awesome it would have been to watch Chuck at 8, then flip over to Fox to watch HT at 9.

Would've been awesome because the Cape sucks and no one is watching it, :p .

I kid I kid. I mean look The Cape isn't horrible but I'm sorry just got to go with Human Target.

Mark Valley needs his bread!

the russian girl from that last episode was super hot in my book. Since Mark is a single guy again...that dude has got the pick of the litter with all the hot tail that wags thru that show.

Well, NBC has cut the Capes season from 13 eps to 10, so there's trouble in paradise for that show.

The ratings boost for Human Target is encouraging, and FOX would be idiots to ignore it. They've go another Wednesday broadcast tonight, and if it can do comparable numbers, especially with Idol as its lead-in, I would hope that FOX would be willing to give the show a reprieve. Especially if wiegeabo is right, and they don't renew House. There isn't really much more they can do, especially with Cuddy and House as a couple. He's always going to be "House", but a lot of baggage he's carried over the course of the show is behind him. None of the other characters really have unresolved arcs, except maybe Foreman. Professionally, House knows Foreman will grow to be one of the best in his field, even rivaling him, and he'll get to that point without becoming anywhere near of a dick as House, which is what Foreman has always feared. All he really needs is for Thirteen to come back.

The next two weeks should be interesting.

Once again I think Fox failed to miss the boat here in that Human Target basically should've been the network's NEW 24. Make it the new centerpiece action show of the network.

The other problem is that the changes in season 2 turned off a lot of fans in season one.

If the show comes back I hope they can get back more to the style of season 1. Specifically orchestral theme music. And less of characters like Ames and Pucci. I don't hate Pucci and Ames at all, but Ames is just not a strong character. However unlike the haters I'm not aversed to female characters at all. Barnes and Layla were good characters and I would've had no problems if they showed up more. Problem is their actors got regular TV show gigs.

I think Pucci should have a less active role if the show continues. Let Winston manage the office and be the boss and Pucci can be like the female Charlie of Charlie's Angels.
