i cut and edited that avvy (from a gif obviously) myself
DoD, this is an non facetious question... Other than that pizza, have you ingested anything that would, ya know, alter your consciousness tonite?
Well Im listening to some old music...Lacuna Coil. Does that count as altering my consciousness tonight?
I had the biggest fantasy crush on Black Widow as a kid. Ironically... Scarjo does nothing for me in that way. Fine enough actress. I like her as Widow. And I know she's an exquisite beauty, but she does nothing for me.
i just sold 8 movies for $55, going to pick up the money tomorrow. i've slowly been working on getting rid of things i don't need
sadly, no one has bit on my graphic novels yet
How are things at the job CC? You start that new shift yet?
i start on Sunday. going to try and go into it optimistically. all my hours will get nighttime differential, so that will be an extra $1-$3 an hour for each hour. i''m not sure how much that difference will be yet, but it's based on my current pay and time at job. Since i've been there since 2005, i'm hoping it'll be closer to $3 more an hour.
and on saturdays and sundays, i'll get sunday premium for both days, which is also more per hour. i'm hoping these increases will be significant enough so that i can start making some dents in some things i really wanna pay off
I forget, but did you mention that you'd worked this kind of shift before? If not... It can be a doozy. I've worked nights since 2001. 11pm to 7am. Those first few months were hard.
no i haven't worked this shift before
i've worked the occasional til midnight or 1pm, or even 4am-1230pm twice a week way back when, but never a regular every week late night schedule

you'd be surprised if you knew everything we can do![]()
oh nooooooooooooooooo...
It's going to be murder on your system. I hope your 2 days off are back to back. That's always a big help. Watch your diet. Stay away from greasy food, and stuff that upsets the stomach. Do not eat before you go to sleep as you will gain pounds, guaranteed. Tea, not coffee to keep you up those first couple of months. Get your vitamins and other nutrients. Try to get up in the relatively early afternoons when you can and get out and get some sun. Like I said, I've been on this shift since 2001. It's survivable, but initially it's an ass kicker for sure.
Guys...I'm not sure why my season 4 disc 2 isn't working...I mean, there's no scratches or anything...anyway, Im gonna listen to some music and see how and where it takes my story..cause right now I got me going to the bathroom, hurling up a storm...
I feel like DoD is trying to be the new ETM, and I am just having none of it.![]()

Most important of all is to actually get sleep. If you need to sleep in, then sleep in. You need those 6-8hrs every day.
i've had insomnia since i was about 11-12 years old, so that's always my hardest battle
lately i've been sleeping in these weird 3-4 hours increments where i wake up wide awake and am up for like 8-12 hours before i sleep again. not a fan of this at all. i'm blaming it on the weather
