Come on Skype, y'all! Especially you, DS!

I have a suggestion...
![]()
Eh? Eh?
It's not my solution to all problems, just... okay maybe it is but it's still a valid option.
Considering how little cash people have and I keep forgetting to ask for PIN codes my murder to cash ratio is not a happy pie chart.

Ugh... This night is not going to end well. I just have that feeling. My train took forever to get to the job, I was about 7 minutes late ( note: I always try to get to the job at least half hour before I relieve the person there. Not so much tonite.) and we've got the Feast of San Gennaro in the back of us and it's nothing but rude drunk people hanging around the place making my life miserable cuz even though I just 5 minutes ago told one group that you can't loiter around our doorway and sit down to finish your sausage sandwich another that was in ear shot of what I told group one just decides to sit down in the same place. There's loud music blaring from cars so I get calls from the tenants, but guess what? I can't do anything about that, it's from a block away. And the traffic is a mess outside because of all the streets closed for the Feast, so it's honk-honk-honk for the next couple of hours.
On the other hand I could be living in a war torn Middle Eastern country right now... Or Detroit. So I probably shouldn't complain too much.
How is everyone else (and Sawyer) doing now?
Doing fine, Krypton. I finally got around to seeing Man of Steel; great movie with some striking imagery. I think the varied tone was one of the movie's strengths. The epic sci-fi scenes on Krypton hooked me from the get-go.
I'm at about the halfway point into The Crippled God, and am loving it so far.
Wow. I'm actually shocked to hear appreciation for MOS around these parts. I agree. The pacing, which many count as a flaw is actually what I consider one of it's strengths. It threads it's drama and character stuff throughout, but it grabs you and keeps pulling you through the story from the first few moments, at least it did for me.
Enjoy your book. I have to get around to re-reading some things myself. I want to re-read ANATHEM and CRYPTONOMICAN by Stephenson, but instead I keep using free time NOT doing that.

Coincidentally, VAPEY VOICE is the name of Senty's unreleased album of Barry White covers.
I'm reading the Harry Dresden books right now, they're like Anita Blake but they haven't turned to porn.![]()
Too bad the guy has never learned harmony. If he did Sawyer's panties would be his.
Are the Blake novels filled to the brim with S-E-X? I remember seeing some comic book adaptations years ago and I was like... Why is the Black Widow on the cover of this non Marvel U. comic?
They were great books at first and well written and little by little they started turning into romance books and then they went full force into porn with a bit of plot. If I wanted that, I have the internet.

Not at the rate you're going. Where's DS? He has video evidence.
