I'm trying to get my wireless to work in the house. I had a slight flood that shorted out my power adapter. I bought another one but I can't seem to get the thing to function.

I have power and I have a signal but no connection.
    Any suggestions?

I should add that it is a PowerBookG4.

It's possible that your Airport lost it's configuration with the power surge. Are the lights on the airport coming on? Which airport model do you have? Have you tried connecting to it with an ethernet cable to get it reconfigured?

I tried reconfiguring it, the lights are on. I haven't attempted connecting it with a ethernet cable. I'll try that, thanks.
