Al Gough Taking Questions at TV Guide

This is the third time these have been posted here.
I just noticed that. This thread came first, was on the first page, and had all of the original comments and questions in it, so maybe that other thread shouldn't have been made? Maybe? Ya think?

MORG!

You're so cute when your angry. :cwink:

this thread wouldve seemed like the logical place to post them...that being said, those questions all sucked. It was mostly all shipper stupidity...

Look at that, you strongarmed him into deleting the thread...you big bully.:hyper:

I agree, I was hoping for more insight into Clark's story...but hearing that Lois has a big arc planned makes me happy.:yay:

Does anyone here read K-site forums regularly?

I just went there to skim since I haven't in a long time, and it seems like the same handful of people do all the posting. Maybe I just didn't look far enough into it, but I was surprised. I always thought their forums were really busy.

We have a regular handful here too, but this is a small part of a huge forum, so it's not surprising. But that whole place is devoted to SV talk, so it just seemed odd that it's not more diverse.

I happened to look at the SupermanHomepage forums a bit yesterday too. It was a lot slower than I thought it would be too. That one doesn't surprise me nearly as much though.

I avoid K-Site like the plague.:csad:

Superman Homepage...I signed up and chatted a couple of times on that forum...but the attitude is really negetive...and is full of Neal Baily zombies that do nothing but bash the show based on what Neal's attitude is about it.:whatever:

Cause you use similar humor? Referencing the line from the SV episode (Zod) instead of where it really came from (S:TM)? You were being snarky, right? I got it. I did, I did. :D

I thought about this a bit, and it kinda makes sense. Remember, those questions were asked on-line and the answers were posted on-line. It's being directed at fans of the show that partake in on-line discussion. What do you find at most sites that discuss SV? 'Shipper talk. Gough is just playing to his audience.

I haven't in quite a while. When I do however, I usually just peruse the Clark/TW threads. :O

They are, aren't they? I always found 'em hard to keep up with. Too many threads, y'know?

Diverse in what way? More varied opinions? I think people tend to congregate in groups that have a higher percentage of others who share similar opinions. For example, you won't find me hanging out on a forum that routinely bashes Clark - and a LOT of folks at K-Site used to do just that a while ago. I don't know if they still do. But there's only so many "big-dumb-alien" jabs and "Buffy-is-great" comments I can take before saying CYA!

I haven't been to their forums in years. Literally.

It's ironic how the one place I was warned to wear a helmet before posting (SHH) became the place I'd call home. Maybe it's my personality? ;)

Yeah I was on K-Site a few times but kept on hearing how great Chloe is and how Chloe's the "real Lois":whatever: and how much of a "Big dumb alien":whatever: Clark is beacause he won't date Chloe.:o Yeah it's safe to say that I won't be on that forum regularly.:ninja:

Twins seperated at birth...I swear it.:woot:

And Patsy you know me better than that...I would never be snarky. :O :p

Oh, and yea, we do have similar humor, much to the board's chagrin.:csad:

Hee! Y'know, I think there's actually more posts on that topic at K-Site than discussion about Clark as Superman and a SV movie here?

[waves to All-Star]

Who luvs ya babe?

actually we all just thought you looked funny in the helmet, everyone else was in on the joke ;) :p

But atleast there's a small possibility that SV could have a dtv movie and Clark will be *or already is, depending who you ask*:cwink: Superman. Chloe will never be Lois Lane because Lois Lane is already is on the show.

Ah well what can you do?

Logically Lois being on smallville would end any K-site discussion about the Chlois nonsense, but they refuse to buy into anything that resembles human Logic.

Ya know, they've run out of reasons to bash Clark, so now they're getting stuck into him for not feeling any remorse over the loss of friendship between him and Lex.

Like Lex has been so teary eyed about it, that he has in fact taken advantage of the situation. :whatever:

But I guess Clark is supposed to be above and beyond reacting in anyway that anyone else should.

Why did you kill off the character of Raya (played by Pascale Hutton) so soon? I really liked her immediately and found her relationship with Clark to be very much like that of a sister. Are there any plans to somehow have her come back? Also, was she supposed to be a version of Supergirl? — DarcyEW
Al Gough:
As enticing as it would be to have Clark embark on a relationship with a Kryptonian counterpart, it would have been an impediment to his destiny. Part of what propels Clark to his fate as Superman relies on the fact that ultimately he has to face his challenges alone. Sorry, Darcy, Raya's not a version of Supergirl. Supergirl is actually Clark's first cousin in the comics.

for one its obvious she was- i posted the comparison of supergirl's death and rayas. two- dude needs to learn what version meant- it doesn't mean word for word accuracy three- he needs to read the comics. kara is one VERSION. there was matrix and linda danvers(not kara's secret identity)
i think the writer had kara in mind but this guy doesn't now as much about her-can't blame him though.

i like the interview!:woot:

Will Clark go through his training like he said he would, at the end of this season? And if he does, how will that affect him next season? — Milton Fine

That's funny. So is Al's answer.
