Leading Terrorist Group, Al Queda, Known To Have Developed "The Bomb"
According to top CIA officials and Iraqi police presiding over the controversial "black prisons" in Iraq, the infamous terrorist organisation, Al-Queda may have developed a previously unknown type of WMD.
"All we have for now is speculation about this weapon based on information coerced from one of our Al-Queda detainees." says a CIA official who's name we are unable to print. "Our prisoner had been interogated for weeks before providing us with this information so it's possible he could just be making it up. Regardless, we are questioning further prisoners with ties to Al-queda about the bomb."
The CIA says that they are unsure about how the information of the prisoner in question's claim was leaked, but that the "black prisons" have become abuzz with talk of the possible threat. Mujaref Al-Dijhani, an Iraqi police officer responsible for transporting detainees to the prison had this to say; "They say it is a new kind of bomb. A bomb that would help the terrorists to better acheive their goals. I don't know if it's true or not."
Government officials have naturaly remained very tight-lipped about the information concerning the existance of this possible new threat, but trusted sources to CNN have provided us with a few details about the bomb. According to our sources the weapon was appearently developed some years ago (as early as 2000, by our estimate) and the reason for it's not being used thus far were due to lack of a delivery system. However, one of our sources claims that the bomb, since it's creation, has undegone a number of changes and that there is a possibility that it could by now be very light-weight and even easily concealable. The bomb, nicknamed "The Freedom Cutter" is said to be able to destroy all freedom within a 30 mile radius of it's target.
When CNN correspondent, John King caught up with the President outside of the Whitehouse today, he had only this to say about the threat; "I've told you before and this just further proves my words and stuff. The terrorists hate your freedom."
