DC Direct: ALL STAR: BATMAN

The Batman figure is 6.75" and features multiple points of articulation and a base.

On Sale September 3, 2008

Not a bad sculpt.
But, unfortunately, it seems that this is the only pose that he can do...
Like the crouched TDKR Batman action figure.

I hate the head sculpt, but thats because Im one of the few who dont care for Lees art. The figure looks good tho, I may just swap heads with another bats.

He sure is grinning too hard. Must be that his underwear on the outside of his suit is too tight. You would grin like that too if your underwear were too tight on your boys. :oldrazz:

I love lees work, big inspiration for my art but eh.....this is.....alot of the figures based off of his work are real hit or miss with me, and this one is a miss.

too bad, looks like a great figure, but the grin ruins it

Not overly impressed by this figure in the least. Ill have to wait to see this in person before I drop the 15 bucks.

Yes, the grin seems too forced.
Smilex, anyone? :woot:

unfortunately i think it looks like crap.

and why are we getting another jim lee figure!!!

year one, mignola, paul or neil adams have yet to get figures!

why?

well, there was that Gotham By Gaslight figure....

but i agree. I really want a Year One figure.

If that All-Star figure doesn't have a button, that when pressed, says "I'm The Goddamn Batman!", i don't want it.:o

The figure needs a base with those words written on in massive bold letters.

I would also love to see a Year One Batman, or even better a Year One range of figures. Most of the other massive influencial Batman stories have got a series of figures.

That stupid grin makes it look dense, or ******ed or something.

I like how they got away from making the figure look like Hush,
but still kept it looking like Jim Lee's stuff.

I thought it would be too similar to Hush, but it is not :)

Although I hope it looks better in person

I don't mind the grin because it reminds me of Frank Miller,

His Batman always has that evil grin on his face
