All Star Superman

Ok even though I am not a DC fan or Superman fan at all, aside from the recent videogame and smallville, this series seems kinda interesting to me.

The only time I was ever really interested in him was the doomsday storyline, and in this, I see Jimmy became doomsday. How did it happen? Was it any good?

And when will this be out in trade, if anyone knows? I assume its a mini and not an ongoing? What are your opinions on it?

That wasn't very helpful, no offense. I dont want to disect the comic, I dont want to go through a huge thread, I just need some basic help. Anyone?

I would suggest going there but anyway jimmy took a potion/device to transform into doomsday to combat an evil superman.

Uhh...it's an ongoing (but more of an Ultimates-style ongoing), the first trade will be out in April, and it's all just pretty crazy (in a good way).

The Jimmy as Doomsday was one of my favorite issues. So far, at least. As I said, it's pretty silver age-style crazy, but it was a really fun read, I thought.

How many comics have they put out already? It seems like a new one is released every four months or something. I had forgotten about it.

5. All Star Supes (unlike ASB&R) had actually stayed pretty much on time until this latest, quite long, delay. It's a bi-monthly to begin with, remember, so one delay can push it back to three months easily.
