There's not much of a story there to read. Thats cool that they called you.... I wouldnt really say it was for an 'integral part' in the film. Background actors, especially in crowded street scenes often dont even appear on film... but it would have been neat.

I agree its not a big story, but man, I feel/felt good (I'm still on fire from the call). I understand where you're coming from about "integral"...I was talking about "background integral" not "personal integral" (which means yeah...I could've been completely cut out or not even in focus during a scene).

i actually AM an extra in the film.

there. my story is already better than yours. and true too.
i'm "street atmosphere" in the scene where the bus crashes through the wall and joker breaks into the bank. i was there the day the fire happened on the top of the building. i was on the opposite side of the street from joker so who knows if i'm in the shot, but i had a dark blue trench coat and a black brief case....

same here, i got about $100 (longer shoot) and they catered Ribs and baked sweet potatoes and all that good stuff. I guess chicago is trying to impress them.

because of the fire, the extras ate at the same time as the cast and crew. I actually sat at christopher nolan's table cuz they said "if there's a seat you can take it". believe it or not, i was 2 seats from him. amazing.

i would do that for free.

that sucks man, i got to be in 4 shots... it was very cool...

also Nolan is very precise on his shots, he likes doing it like 20 times form all types of angles... it was funny peopel were like on the 3rd shot saying how it looked fine and lets move on but he kept doing over and over and over again, didnt bother me a bit.... the crew is a bunch of jokers, they were all very cool people to work with... after leaving i was a very tiring day and yet the crew still was nice and talkitive which i give made props too cuz i would have been like "LEAVE ME ALONE" but there was a nice guy, (one of Nolans higher up people) that i was talking to on the elevator and he was nice enough to just BS with me... i give Nolan and his crew two thumbs up... id love to work for them againif given the chance....
