Alternate ending?

I watched "Wolverine" on cable last night-I turned to it toward the end, and after the credits rolled,

instead of the Deadpool ending, I saw Wolverine in a bar in Japan.

Who else has seen this?

The Wolverine ending was shown in some cinemas too. But if you got the Wolverine ending, there would be no deadpool ending

Yeah this is kind of ancient news. I mean I'm glad you are excited about it and that you finally got to see it, but anyone who did more than a five minute google search found this about a year ago if not in theaters.

I saw the Deadpool ending in the theater and looked up the Japan one probably that night. I'm very thorough when it comes to my comic book movies, that's why I refused to wait til the Thor footage was released to watch it, I searched high and low for that trailer.

I think it was just a way to get fanboys to see the film twice.

It was a marketing gimmick to get people who saw the leaked verion to go to the cinemas.

It's not really that uncommon. I know Paranormal Activity had multiple endings too, so we can probably expect some movies to try and sucker people into repeat viewings, just to get that small bonus.
