It does and it doesn't. Considering everything else he gets away with between forming his team and attacking the mansion it's not too far gone to assume he didn't spend any time in prison.

That scene was unnecessary and I think was just in the film to make Stryker out to be a greater threat. I prefer him as an intelligent, sneaky scientist with a grudge though. Also that was rather sloppy of Stryker wasn't it?

BUT because of that scene they had to find some way to wrap it up. Even that's a little silly because he gets away with experimentation, etc. but not this.

I think this is a horrible idea. Making fans pay extra to watch something that is probably going to be considered canon in the movieverse is stupid....smart business wise but once again it shows you that Fox doesn't care about the fans. The general audience won't give a crap about this and I doubt they would even know about this so I see this as a dumb move.

This is a great idea for people who are going to see the movie more than one anyway. It's bad for people who are only planning on seeing it once.

Nope. They close Cyke's story well enough. So you wont be getting his, nor Gambits.

Unless Gavin shot these scenes in his backyard on 35 mm I'm not believing anything until the movie comes out.

Overall, Hood wanted to emphasize that you should wait to see the finished product. Not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because there are certain things that were added later on that you wont find online. He told the audience that there are two Easter Eggs present at the end of the theatrical version of the film. The only catch is that they will be shown at different screenings, not simultaneously. I’m assuming that means if you see one, you probably will have to catch another show to see the other.

Word on the street is that one of them may have something to do with another franchise that has been talked about quite a bit recently… but we’re not giving that away!

Well, we already know Deadpools one of them.

Yea the Stryker ending is completely pointless and creates a possible plot hole. They would be stupid to keep that in.

I always wondered since the workprint had X3 credits in between the Stryker and Logan/Japan scene that there would be another scene in there. Now we know.

But yea for us fans the way they have done it with different endings on different prints is a right kick in the teeth. It makes financial sense, but it just proves (if it wasn't already) that Fox are just a greedy, self centred corporation. In other words, pricks.
